This was ordered because my 8 year old son said he wanted to learn bass.So, not wanting to spend too much incase he loses interest this seemed like an ideal choice.I've been playing bass for 24 years so I feel I've got a reasonable idea of what to look for in a bass.What a pleasent suprise this guitar is. It's got a really nice low action straight out of the box and after tuning only needed slight adjustment to get the intonation right. This brings me onto the hardware. Although obviously supplied to a price it seems to be reasonably good quality. Only time will tell as to how the chrome plating will hold up. Now the amplifier. I wasn't expecting great things from this as it's a rather small practice amp.

Absolutely delighted with this. Bought for my 7 year old, as he found my elder son's bass to be too big to learn on. Amazing value for money, great sounding amp and good quality instrument. Also, it does come with the case shown in the picture - although it isn't mentioned in the description - the case is also well padded, so suitable for carrying to school etc. Highly recommended as a low cost starter kit.

Fantastic set for first time bass player. Bought for my 10years old birthday he absolutely loves it! Months on hes having bass guitar lessons and the bass guitar is still going strong. Might need to upgrade the amp now but as a starter pack it's been brilliant, real value for money.

Bought this for my nephew who is 9 years old. Played well with minimum setting up straight out of the box. Very playable action and a decent sound for the money. Would recommend

Perfect Christmas present. Great size bass as a starter. The whole kit was great, and included all we needed to get started.
