Upon receiving this product I downloaded the app to use with this watch which was very easy and followed the step by step guide to set up and pair the watch and phone. The actual watch and face is very stylish and clear. Even though the watch itself is a little heavy it has a good sturdy strap and I do believe you can get other straps if you prefer.A feature I like is that if you ever need to take an awkwardly positioned picture you can place your phone in any position and press the watch button to take that picture - amazing. One thing I have found a little tricky is mastering the date on the watch and a little hard to understand how to do this.It has a good track your steps function which everyone loves to use and easy to understand. A bonus function would be to have had a heart rate function. In my opinion with regard to music features I prefer to control my music via my phone rather than the watch but that is just me.The only drawback to this watch I find is there is no light but the screen becomes illuminated for that but I would have preferred a light feature.I like the notification feature so much easier with this being on a watch instead of relying on your phone especially if in a different room. The sleep tracking is quite a fun feature and would recommend trying this out. It is quite something to find out how much restful sleep you don’t have !Another great feature is find my phone which I have used a lot as I always lose my phone. Now I need not get flustered when I can’t find my phone. All in all I would definately recommend this watch as it is very easy to use and has many amazing feature and looks great too!I haven’t used all the features to its fullest but look forward in doing so [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The watch looks very nice, a clear large dial but if you expect to wear it out of the box, you will need the arms of Popeye. The strap is massive and you will probably need it altering. Don't look for instructions in the box, there a small leaflet detailing how to load an app to your phone and that's it. Once opened, the app goes through syncing the watch to the phone but yet again there are no instructions. If like me you are new to smart watches that's about as far as you can go without finding the model on the Fossil web site. This is quite detailed and does help you get the most of customising the watch. Something's won't work without adjusting your phone's settings. Some of the features are a bit puzzling. Why would you press a button on the watch to take a picture on the phone, for instance ? Once set up, however, the watch functions well. The step counter is a good feature. No need to go to the jewellers to change the battery, this can be done by removing the back panel . Easy to set multiple alarms on the app too. Can be a bit disconcerting at first, especially if you get as many emails as I do,if you get notifications of emails. A vibration every couple of minutes gets some getting used to! It feels substantial and will go great with a suit or smart/casual look. The buttons on the right of the watch are the first hint of a digital underbelly, with an unexpectedly soft and smooth resistance. Taking it a step further the centred crown doesn’t actually turn which is strange, and instead the centre pushes in as another button... another example of ‘not quite sure why, but it’s different and kinda cool so I’ll bring it up down the pub!’.In practice the call notifications requires a good memory and a fair bit of practice - as you programme numbers to contacts and the watch magically points to the corresponding number of who’s calling - but I love that they are thinking outside the box.The app is easy to use and some of the features on my phone are really good. Recommend this bad boy for my Dad or anyone who craves the unusual and new ideas. I think the ultimate hybrid would be a round screen behind traditional mechanical hands, please fossil look at this for mk2! This seemingly bombproof watch is a great pub talking point! this is a great piece of kit, having had an apple watch for nearly 2 years, the continual need for charging was getting very annoying, this amazing bit of kit allegedes that it'll last 4-6 months we will see... it looks great, feels chunky but not too heavy, love the colour and the notification functions: so you can set each 'alert' to a different hour so wife ringing me it's both hands to the 12, text message hands to the 6, whatapps hands go to 9. I've set my step target which then updates via the small dial in the middle, showing as a percentage of the goal. if i lose my phone i've set it to ring the phone (has to be within bluetooth range) when you press the top button.you can tailor the buttons on the top and bottom to function with all sorts of features, all controlled through the app on my phone, I have to say at this point it's possibly the best watch I've owned and the best purchase I have made in a long time. I am extremely pleased with the product!

I bought this watch, more for its design rather than its functions as a smartwatch. The functions are simple, and relatively easy to use, albeit limited. The design is smart and certainly looks like a decent dress watch. Compared to other smartwatches, I would rate this product less - not because of its simplicity, that is a positive. What this product lacks in features, it more than makes up for in looks. I do like the feature of setting up my paired phone with its camera on, then using the watch as a remote camera trigger. I have not used the other features as I have preferred methods of using them, such as music volume control. Setting up the watch was easy with the download of the Fossil app from the app store.Pairing the watch with the phone was no issue at all. Looking at the Fossil range, I would say its much a degree of personal choice, but I would agree, this is a good looking watch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Received the Smartwatch through the post and within 15minutes was set up and tracking my steps. I configured it to change volume on my phone so I can amend volume easily without getting my phone out. It has various other features that can be configured also with the iPhone. I also monitored my steps like a fitbit device would do but with the added style of a traditional watch on my wrist. The biggest benefit to me is the traditional watch look but with the added features. I think the features for fitness could be enhanced to provide further stats and the user should be provided with a tool to change the fit of the watch which I had to go to a shop to remove some links.Overall a great device though and something I’d not seen done so well in the hybrid smartwatch style. I love this Fossil watch - the boxed presentation is of a high quality and at first feel the watch does not disappoint. It’s a good weight, looks and feels expensive and the linked strap was altered at a local inexpensive shoe repair shop to fit.You need to download the app which is easy as are the instructions to toggle between the various functions. I love being able to change the music I am listening to without having to get to my phone. I love to run but probably the only draw back is weight of the watch for longer runs at a weekend. The way the date is shown is really cool.Perhaps the dial should illuminate at night but a small detail. All in all great watch that I wouldrecommend.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The watch is a cool blend of smart and traditional watch technology. It’s pretty straight forward to connect to your phone, just simply download the fossil Q app and it will auto synch to your phone. There are some additional features which allow you to link the buttons on the side to actions on your phone (like volume up/down, see notifications, ring phone etc.) which is a pretty cool idea, however it would seem that not all of them work overly well with my iPhone 6… Perhaps operator error?! In terms of the watch design, it’s simple, classy and liked the dark gunmetal finish! I think on the whole is a great product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got this watch 5 days ago and I'm impressed with all the different functions that it offers whilst still offering up a traditional looking watch with out the use of LCD face.the app that goes with the watch is great as you can load up different preset's for each function of the buttons on the side of the watch but there lies the only downfall I can find with the watch...instead of having the use of all the functions readily available to you within the watch you have to go to the app to select a preset you already sorted before hand or do a custom job to the watch for your specific needs at that time [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Had this just over a week and very impressed with functionality, appearance and quality; commented on by the jeweller when adjusting the strap.Nice to have the look of a traditional watch with some smart functions. These are easy to use and button functions can be preset and changed very easily. It's really handy to be able to control music from the watch, and the notification function works nicely too. I love this watch the only downside is that it's a bit too heavy to have it on all day but I think that for evenings or special occasions this is ideal. I received many compliments and even had other people buying it after they saw it on my hand. I love the smart functions too even though I don't use the Fossil app as my main one to track my steps because as I said I don't have it on permanently. But the caller id is a cool function!

The quality of this watch is exceptional. It feels very sturdy and has a good weight to it.The instructions were very clear to follow and I had no problem using the many functions that the watch had.The Bluetooth connection dropped out a couple of times but this could have been down to my phone, rather than the watch. All in all, I would recommend this watch to everybody. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The watch feels good on, it’s not to heavy but has enough weight to make you feel like you’re wearing a good quality watch. It has a nice finish to the watch and it’s really easy to set up. The app is also easy to work im really happy with the product as I didn’t want another phone on my wrist, it does what it’s suppose to do and it does it well. Excellent looking watch with smart capabilities, counts steps, and tells you when you've got messages, calls etc without the complexity of a full smartwatch. Had a little issue getting it to respond to iMessages but was easily and quickly sorted out by Fossil support. Only very slight flaw is the vibrations are very subtle and easy to miss, but that may just be me rather than the watch.

excellent product looks and feels great. feels nice and heavy, but feels light when worn. excellent features to use with the supported app, easy to pair. tracks steps but looks like a normal watch. control music and your camera from your watch. and it does not look like a fitbit or similar trackers.
