Sooo pleased with this product, it feels and acts like normal clay when you’re working with it. It’s easy to shape in itself and to shape around a wire frame as I wanted to do with my reindeer antlers. It dries hard, like normal clay so you can refine your shape by carving or filing - I used an emery board because I didn’t have anything else to hand.I’ve been using Hobbycraft Superlight Air Drying Clay, which has a foamy texture that doesn’t actually mold easily and doesn’t dry hard, it retains the foamy feel. It can’t be carved or filed once hard, what you make is what you get. This Fimo clay is unbelievably better. It is heavier than the Hobbycraft clay, and I think it might well shatter if dropped once hard,

Having never attempted this kind of work before, I chose this product for its air-drying and ease of use.The restoration was of a large century-old Rococco style hand-bevelled mirror bought for a few Euro in France. The frame was oak with heavy plaster moulding which was damaged in many parts with other quite large parts completely missing.While a bit sticky, the clay was very easy to use, dried quickly (though a word of caution; keep the drying process slow or it will crack), and had a very easy to work manner. both wet and dry, using various hand tools and abrasive papers. To ensure a good 'joint' between the old and new, the old surfaces were prepared with neat PVA which was allowed to nearly dry before applying the clay.Once dry,

This air drying clay is very easy to use, it's nice and thick and can be reworked if you make a mistake. However it's not waterproof or frost proof when dried so you will need to buy additional items if you intend for your creation to live outdoors like intend for my frog house. Additionally, it says it drys in 24 hours but my creation has been left for several days and it's still not dry so be aware of this if you are on a time frame. Otherwise it's a great clay to work with and once you've finished you can go back to it the following day to add any finer details. If a part you want to retouch is dry or almost dry you can just add water to it and it will become playable again but that will add to the drying time.

Easy to use, although I would dispute the colour being white - it's more a pale beige, but that won't be important if you are going to paint the clay, which I am not.One tip - I got this to take paw prints of my dogs - carefully clip the fir around their pads first and make the clay quite thick to get a good deep impression. I would also make the diameter of the clay bigger than you think too as I found that the edges contacted and cracked when drying.Overall though I am happy with the result and the pack did 3 paw prints for me.

Brilliant product- perfect for my craft ideas. Easy to use, large lump of the clay so enough to do larger items as well as many many little ones - have still got about half the pack left.DOWNSIDE - the ‘self seal’ doesn’t self seal so I wrap the clay in clingfilm when I am not breaking a chunk off - to stop it drying out and becoming useless. WARNING - you have to work quickly with this clay because as soon as it starts to dry out it you can’t work with it - it turns rock hard - especially if working on small items.

I’m a huge fan of air dry paper clay. Have previously used other air dry clays to compare the differences. This clay was great to work with. Smells quite pleasant and really moulded well. It seems to dry slightly faster and also did not have much shrinkage or any cracks. Dries slightly heavier than why I’m used to but weight doesn’t make a difference to the piece I used it on.A great product.

Me and my children had a wonderful time using this clay. It’s a good texture, clean and it’s not at all sticky. It dries a lovely shade of white and can be painted afterwards. This packet made 24 1cm thick Christmas tree ornaments which were around 4-5cm wide. We will 100% buy this again.

This product was a great buy!It spreads further than you think but can be difficult to work with if you have hot hands as the product becomes sticky and starts sticking to everything!We made some lovely christmas tree decorations with the children in nursery!Would definitely buy again

Very happy with this ite. It dries to white ( but did take a out 4 days to thoroughly dry). It stuck well to the top of the boxes and the children could easily fix the shells etc in it . When dried I garnished the boxes. Seems to have a good finish.

I'm renovating a dolls house and instead of buying my clay pieces I found this amazing air dry clay, so pliable and easy to use, I made up all my tiny planters a miniature raised garden, it also takes paint well, an unbelievable product.

Excellent packaging and delivery, arrived fast. The clay is easy to use, but is quite powdery, leaves alot of mess on your hands.However, i really like this product, it is perfect for my clay works.

Mess free, fragrance free. Our one month old slept through having her hand and foot prints done, but you have to poured really firmly and it was a three person job! I would recommend

It’s a great quality product although I asked for white and it’s more grey which is a shame as it’s for my baby’s foot prints I used it last night and it’s still drying out.

we spent 2 days creating and 2 day decorating, fantastic product, easy to use and great to paint. My children really enjoyed getting creative with this product.

Myself and my daughter love this, easy to use, dosent dry out, when you put it back in its packaging, quick drying when i put in airing cupboard
