I didnt buy these from Amazon but i bought the exact same 36 pack from a local stationary ship. They are good pencils if you are looking for good quality without the price of the artist pencils. They dont break easy, they blend together very well so that you can create new shades. and when you color with them, they blend so that you dont see the pencil lines like the cheaper ones do. also they give a soft professional look to the drawing, I would recommend these. The colors are pretty deep without having to push too hard, although i would say that you need to go over the same patch 2 or maybe 3 times if you want a really deep color. I attached 3 photos.

bought this to use in my "adult colouring book". They are a lovely quality, especially considering the price. The silver and gold metallic pencils are just gorgeous, and I might well see if they do others of these as they really help to "set off" the other colours when completing a picture. There is a lovely range of blue/green/yellow/browns...but a bit lacking I thought on pinks/reds so have bought myself another set to "complete" the colours that I feel are missing. But, the colours in faber-castell set are really nice, and lovely to colour with.

I'm very happy with the pencils. They have a good variety of colours to chose from. They show up nicely on paper, you can mix and match them, they blend well. You can have a more soft outcome by being gentle when applying the colour or if you put a bit of pressure it can come out quite rich.The price is great in my opinion.The only thing I would have changed is the arrival time. It got there on the last day they said it would arrive and I was getting to excited to wait :pI'm very happy with the product. It even came with a small sharpener.

Got these for my partner as she is currently colouring mad. Good range of shades, easy to blend, good to sharpen. The only problem she found with them are that one of the coulours wasn't what it said it was, supposed to be orange/yellow according to side of the pencil but the lead is pink. If you don't want to spend a few hundred pounds on colouring pencils, these are your best and cheapest alternative.

I have used these pencils in this 36-colour pack, and also other sizes. I've always found them to be very good - the colours are quite vibrant and the leads don't break easily. I find that this size pack tends to be a good balance between cost and quantity with 36 pencils in it, and have been so pleased with them that I have bought more, and also ordered them for relatives.

Fantastic pencils. Very strong lead, each colour is unique, pencils blend well with each other and can be as bold or subtle as you choose (unlike alot of pencils which I find are all light, soft and almost pastel versions of the colour they are supposed to be)Love this product would highly recommend! The wee sharpener was a nice touch and the price was fair! :)

after asking people on amazon what these pencils were like all the response said they were good so i took there advice and ordered them . was'nt disappointed . there excellent pencils . the choice of colours are suburb . nice to hold . the leads are nice and soft and they colour perfect . glad i took the advice of other amazon buyers . glad to give 5/5

Good value set of colouring pencils. Comes with a pencil sharpener. Nice range of colours including gold and silver. These are overall good quality pencils. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because one of the pencil leads kept snapping until the pencil was 2 inches long. I seem to get this with every set of pencils I buy though.

Best colour pencils I have bought. Novice in colouring, I bought a few from basic store, but nothing was good enough. Faber-Castell pencils have such a nice pigmentation, you can use lightly and will get some nice pale patterns or can colour harder and all the pigmentation reveal such nice and beautiful nuance and shades. I LOVE THEM!

Bought them for my first colouring book experience. Simply GREAT!Lovely range of colours and great quality, Faber Castle is simply a master in colors!Pencils are strong and last long.I haven't experienced any breakage of the pencils whatsoever.The tip is soft and with a pleasant touch, absolutely perfect for colouring books.

I absolutely love the range of colours. The pigments are pretty good for blending and colour saturation is reasonably even if not intense. Breakage is not too bad. The only downside is that the wood in my set is awful. It splinters, cracks and breaks. It may be that I have a faulty lot. Otherwise I love them.

Lovely range of colours which are all numbered and named on the box. Pencils are quite soft which reduces strain on the hand and wrist. Sharpened ok but led did break once using the sharpener that came with the set. Sharpened fine when I used a higher end sharpener.For the price there a bargain.

Really nice pencils, quite soft lead so you don't have to press hard at all, which is what I like, great for adult colouring books. Not so keen on the colour range, there are no pink shades at all and I feel there are too many browns and greens.

Very pleased with the quality of these pencils. There ability to blend and retain a good point is especially good for adult colouring books/art therapy books. I would like to advise that there is no pale pink, pale purple or sky blue in the set.

Great pencils, very soft and easy to smudge/blend. Leads don't break every 5 minutes either. I was going to buy some really expensive pencils but glad I went with these. My son even uses them for his GCSE Art. Highly recommended.
