I pre-ordered the game and got in the muddle like many folks here.. It's clear what Amazon and Excalibur Publishing are doing as they switched my order from the DVD giving me a card packaged in the case. Being an owner of the original game and the expansion pack, I had to repurchase both, the original game and the previous expansion pack together to make this game run.I'm very confused about why Amazon allowed this too happen myself as they have their own gaming platform and having this product, forced me to purchase the same games again from Steam! You must have the other expansion Going East installed to make the game run, forcing you to buy that expansion too on Steam.

I absolutely love the fact that SCS has put a lot of fine detail into the Scandinavia expansion. There is so much in this expansion at such a low price, you have the realistic weather system, the awesome Mercedes Benz Actros, the fantastic scenery and the Volvo factories, along with so much more! You can tell it's taken a long time as every fine detail has been made. The only downside is there is no CD-ROM, you'd think SCS would include a disc after packaging it in a fancy case? It's not the end of the world though - a download code is good enough for me. I wish they would just put this much detail in the UK map, the motorways are not very realistic on the ETS2 UK map,

the game is good, but what right has Excalibur publishing and Amazon got to change my order from PC DVD to Download only.There are good people out here that bought UK TRUCK and EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR then EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR 2 all on PC DVD.We where good people then,buying playing and telling others how good the games where,now people we are a nuisance.EXCALIBUR and AMAZON want us on STEAM.I've nothing against steam ,a good organisation, but what about the people who's internet connection is not very good, the games big now so we don't need those small DVD people.Good people out there will this happen again after you buy AMERICAN TRUCK SIM IN PC DVD.THEY ONLY NEED US SMALL PEOPLE AT THE

This add-on for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is excellent. The landscape of north Europe and new road junctions are amazing. It really worth its price.For those who are interested, in this game box you will find an advertisement flyer and a Steam digital game code card, which will allow you to download Scandinavia add-on into your Steam account.In fact, there is basically no difference between buying it online on Steam or buy this box. However, I personally preferred to buy it on box because, besides there is no CD on it, I like to collect game boxes and this one has a really good design!I would recommend this add-on to all Euro Truck Simulator 2 players!

Got husband Euro Truck Gold for Christmas and then got this for his 70th birthday. He loves it and works well. Me personally would of preferred a disc not a steam version but thankfully it worked ok and as he is on it all the time he must like it. It seems he has become a 'simmer' at his age and why not. there might be snow on the roof but there's still fire in his belly !!!! Keeps his mind active which is the main thing

You don't have to buy the game again on steam if you didn't get the base game and dlc from there. Just download steam which is free and type in the code from the game version that you already bought. It will then import the game but as a new game so you still need to transfer the data over but that's not hard at all. You can find the code in the dvd box or on the invoice I think.

I love euro truck sim 2 and really wanted the new expansion but when this arrived it was only for the steam installed version ( so be warned) as it contains a download code not a dvd rom as I thought , Amazon were brilliant and let me return the item for a refund , many thanks Amazon for the understanding

It's great to see some great new scenes from the truck can the and new road system that is used in scandanavia is great, I did get lost in some of the spaghetti junctions a few times.

I bought this for my grandson. He is "over the moon" with it. Travelling through europe on his laptop without leaving the room is blowing his mind. He thinks it is fantastic!!!!

Brilliant add on to a brilliant game. Make sure you want the steam version and not the CD - check spec carefully before ordering.

only used once and the bit I went to did not look Scandinavian, could have been Cambridge! but it extends the sim.

Great product, a little steep on price as opposed to Steam lately, however still a great product.
