Took a while to get the gold ink to cover the tip, but I guess it was because it was quite cold. The pen got a metal ball inside, which will stir the ink quite nicely through rigorous shaking. Tip is spring loaded and requires to be pushed down several time to pump out a small amount of the gold ink. The tip itself is quite sturdy and provides a quite nice and even flow of ink onto the surface, allowing elaborate results.

Ordered this pen for specifically for writing on wood accessories. It came on time, was easy to use and lovely colour on wood.

Edding excellent quality as usual - lasts much longer than felt-tip pens, good for writing in greetings cards.
