Although I am a self confessed fan of Thierry Mugler colognes and have a wide collection of the different male scents that have been released over the years my loyalty to Mugler took a bit of a wobble last year when I discovered "Ed Hardy" for men by Christian Audigier. I was drawn to Ed Hardy simply by the bottle as the tattoo inspired design looked out of the ordinary and drew my interest, it was love at first sniff as I sprayed a small amount onto my wrist and my Ed Hardy obsession was born.Where the original Ed Hardy is quite light and subtle and tends to fade over time Hearts and Daggers is stronger and more noticeable and lingers around hours after it has been sprayed and reminds me ofone of Thierry Mugler colognes (A*Men Summer Flash).A sharp blast of what I thought was melon but is in actual fact Anjou Pear is the first noticeable aroma you will detect, it is light, fresh and, for want of a better word, 'perky' and was what first appealed to me. There is a hint of Basil and Martini in the top notes which quickly calm down to release to heart notes of white pepper, papaya and rosemary and these are deeper than the initial perky burst - indeed once the scent has had time to warm up on your skin you can detect a mixture of different aromas with a underlying combination of Sandalwood and Patchouli. I'm always drawn to scents that are woody (A*Men in particular) and Patchouli is one of my favourite aromas in perfumes and aftershaves anyway so I am not surprised that I like Hearts and Daggers as much as I do and whilst it is a strong cologne it isn't overpowering or too in-your-face so those around you won't be recoiling in horror. I find that a just two or three sprays in a morning out of the shower are just enough to invigorate me and leave me smelling fresh and clean and if I am going out on an evening then I will apply a top up squirt just to reawaken the fragrance.Although you could quite easily classify this as a 'summer' scent due to its fresh and contempary aroma I would wear this all year round as it is distinctive without being too heavy and all in all this certainly appeals to me. The bottle design will no doubt divide opinion with some hating its appearance and others , like me, loving it. The familiar, but different to Ed hardy, tattoo design of Christian Audigier is represented this time on a rectangular bottle with rounded edges and as with Ed Hardy the glass tattooed sleeve slides off to reveal a plain glass bottle beneath. "Hearts and Daggers" is packaged in a mid blue glass bottle which again is very summery in appearance.I never thought I would find another scent to capture my imagination like A*Men by Thierry Mugler did, Hearts and Daggers has succeeded to do this and is, at the moment my absolute favourite out of all of my aftershave collection. It's a 5 star scent in my opinion and definitely comes recommended by me

I buy this Ed Hardy Hearts and Daggers for my youngest son every year, cos' that's what he asks for. He uses it for any occasion, and you don't need to put on a lot as the aroma lasts all evening with just a couple of quick sprays. I paid less than £30 and had it delivered free, you can't ask much more than that for the genuine article. I have even bought myself an Ed Hardy after shave spray, not the same one as my son, I bought "Born Wild" and I'm pleased to say that it is just as nice as the one I buy for my son. I had never tried it before so I was a little anxious untill it arrived but very relieved when I tried it.

If you blindfolded me and stuck me in front of two people, one wearing this Ed Hardy and the other Alfred Sung's Paradise, I would have a very difficult time telling them apart.[...]It really is uncanny how close they are in opening, development and dry down.Paradise is a great smell too, if you like this you'll love Sung's creation. Seek it out, it is also really good value for money.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew. Not sure if he likes it but his brother keeps trying to wear it also.Having read other reviews - posted after I bought this item - I double checked the package and contents but all was ok.Will consider buying other fragrances from Amazon as the price alone cannot be beaten.

This aftershave is strangely appealing for the low price. I have had many compliments and a lot of shock when I have disclosed the price and location of purchase. Seeing as it is so low in price, it is definitely worth taking the risk to see if it appeals to you. If not, you are not out of pocket at all.

Gorgeous bottle, and a fresh long lasting fragrance. Reminds me of cool water from Davidoff. Bought for my partner and he loves it. My nephew loved it too and I bought another bottle for him straightaway. I think this fragrance is suitable for every ages. Definitely a five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought this scent for my boyfriend for Christmas or maybe valentines day. He loved the scent, and the bottle is designed stunningly. The scent is a very fresh yet strong smelling it is a quality aftershave and for the price it really is a bargain. I highly recommend. :)

£16.80 inch P&P is a total "bargain" when compared to the high street prices. ABSOLUTELY lovely smell this aftershave. I had this once before years ago as a gift. Its up there with Paco rabanne 1 million and all the other men’s favorite smells.

Great product, which I ordered for my boyfriend for Christmas. It came quickly and in a suitable amount of packaging to insure the protection of the product without going overboard. The aftershave smells lovely and I would recommend it.

The main reason i bought this was because of the striking design,not the best reason for getting an aftershave i know,but i was very pleased when it arrived as i loved the smell, far lighter and fresher than the artwork suggests.

This was bought as a gift for a tattoo artist the presentation was everything and after carefully reading previous reviews I thought that the fragrance would be acceptable but I bet he keeps it on the shelf in the box.

Long lasting, aromatic, musky, I have absolutely no complaints with this fragrance.I can recommend it personally and as usual Amazon offer great value for your money.

great smell and good value for money smell lasts long and for a branded item offers a unigue smell to which many people stopped me and said you are smelling fantastic
