Purchased these to upgrade the standard 8GB of ram in my new 27” 5K IMac as I use ram hungry programs like Lightroom and Photoshop.With just the standard 8GB ram the programs can Lag a lot but I have noticed a massive difference after installing the Crucial 16GB ( 2 x 8GB) bringing me upto 24GB ram.There is a lot of confusion as to what way to configure the ram slots. I have the 4gb in slots 1 & 3 ( which is also where Apple had them pre configured) and the new 8GB in slots 2 & 4 to get optimum performance.EDIT*********I have since purchased a 2019 5k iMac 27” 3.0GHz 6-Core and tried to use the 16gb 2400 MGH and it was down throttling the ram.So I purchased the 32 GB kit (16gb x 2) (DDR4,

I have since purchased a 2019 5k iMac 27” 3.0GHz 6-Core and tried to use my old 16gb 2400 MGH which I was using in my 2017 5k iMac and it was down throttling the ram.So I purchased the 32 GB kit (16gb x 2) (DDR4, 2666 MT/S, PC4-21300, Dual Rank x8, SODIMM, 260-Pin) Memory and it works fantastic bringing my ram upto 40GB ( 32GB Crucial and 8GB Apple).Absolutely no Lag whatsoever when using multiple tasks, I have Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop running along with YouTube video and Final Cut Pro and it has not slowed in the slightest. These are all ram hungry programs.1 more thing I see a lot of questions about.Apple specify in their memory specifications PC4-21333 and these Crucial are PC4-21300.Do NOT worry,

Bought this to upgrade my Dell inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop from 8gb to 16gb ram and i have to say it works perfectly. Packaging came sealed and Installation was as easy as unscrewing the bottom of the laptop, unplug the battery, insert the ram into the empty slot and away we go. Turned on the laptop and bang we have 16gb ddr4 2400 ram running in dual channel mode. So I highly recommend it hence the 5 stars. Just a side note to any non techies out there if you are upgrading ram and want to add to any existing ram you have got, buy ram that matches your existing ram in size and speed in order to get the max benefit for example i had a 8gb ddr4 2400 pre-installed hence why I went for this

I’ve had issues in the past with RAM but my Mac Mini 2018, accepted these with no hesitation. So far so good. It even improves my Geekbench score above the average for my build.Whilst RAM is not cheap, I have given 5-Stars for value for money, because compared to the £500 or so Apple wanted to charge for 32GB config, this is a bargain! I even found taking apart my new overpriced Mac mini to install these, easier than I expected. If you are going to attempt to install yourself (and not use an authorised Apple centre), make sure you have the correct tools, the right tutorials and even watch beforehand to be comfortable you can do it.I used the iFixit beginners kit for this installation.

I recently purchased a laptop with the intention of upgrading its Ram to 16gb from 8gb.I had a look around to find an affordable DDR4 SODIM and struggled before checking Amazon Warehouse Deals.This was a returned item with some VERY minor imperfections. Managed to knock a chunk off the price for a small scratch on the label...Something I’ll likely never see again!Very easy to install in my laptop. Booted up and all showing correctly in CPUZ. Ran some tests to ensure no faults or errors and happy to say it was like new!Very happy with this purchase. Well worth checking out Amazon Warehouse Deals to save yourself a little extra if thinking about buying new!

Installed in a 27" 2017 iMac. Quick, easy install and works perfectly alongside the stock 8gb that is in the other two slots (the iMac had four slots with only two filled when I bought it). I've used Crucial memory before without any issues, so fingers crossed these will last the life of the computer like the others have. The 24gb I have now is much more than I'll need in the vast majority of situations, but I multitask a lot on audio/visual stuff so it's a nice luxury to have and all I will likely ever need in years to come.

I purchased this memory module for my wife's Lenovo laptop which was performing very badly. It was regularly using 100% memory and running very slowly.I installed the new memory card and there has been a dramatic improvement. Now when I monitor memory use the laptop is no longer limited by lack of memory. Now it is the Hdd disk which is limiting performance, if my wife is not happy the next step would be an SSD drive but I think she will settle for the memory upgrade as it has made such a great difference.

I needed a laptop ram upgrade, and this had the best price, so decided why not ?I've swapped this with my old 8gb of ram, with the hopes that in the future I will buy another 16gb of ram, to make it up to 32gb, but at the moment this one is good enough.One piece of advice - Please make sure you have shut down the laptop before you install it, because your laptop might not turn on afterwards.After i've added it, it was read straight away, and work great so far. So it deserves a 5 star.

I have a 8gb laptop and I brought this ram stick to be able to play more intensive triple AAA games that would need more the 8gb. And this ram is was more then enough. The 2666mhz was defiantly fast enough to keep up with most demanding games. Also it took me like 15 minutes to install the RAM is and most of it is screwing and unscrewing the laptop. So overall I would suggest this RAM stock to anyone and everyone who wants extra RAM for any specific reason. At a reasonable price

The drive was a replacement for a Windows system SSD that had finally given up the ghost after five years continuous heavy use. It was a simple replacement using the same slot and cabling.The complication was that being a Windows system disc I had to build it from a USB bootable Windows image and this all went very smoothly once I had reordered the BIOS to put the unit first in the boot list.Let's hope this one last as well as the Samsung that it replaces!

Original crucial DDR4 RAM, well packaged. No problems at all.RAM just clips in, so the hardest bit is normally opening up the computer/laptop. So it probably took me 2 minutes to open up, 2 seconds to install and 2 minutes to put everything back together.Dependant on your BIOS settings, you may be advised that the RAM has changed on your first boot. If so just accept it, following the onscreen instructions (eg press F1).

I installed a matched pair of the 8GB sticks in my 27” iMac 5K 2017, alongside the two factory-fit 4GB sticks, and everything went fine. The iMac started up straight away afterwards and immediately showed a total of 24GB in “About this Mac”. Resource-heavy apps like Photoshop are now much nippier! If you’re installing pairs of sticks, just keep in mind that it’s slots 1 & 3 and slots 2 & 4 that are matched.

Arrived impressively light on packaging. Also of course it massively sped up my computer - no troubles getting it working on a ThinkPad E495.Of course whether this one is right for you depends on compatibility with your computer. But the Crucial website's compatibility checker is really great for checking that - just make sure you compare the model numbers very carefully!

Arrived quickly, easy to install even for a clueless pc person like me (there's a YouTube video for this laptop model to help). The laptop originally came with 8GB RAM (4GB soldered and 4GB removable) so replaced the 4GB with 16GB making 20GB in total. That along with the laptop's default SSD makes the laptop handle multiple tasks with no lag. Highly recommended purchase.

Beware, installing this will void your warranty!Installed easily enough with the help of youtube videos. Turned my already impressive laptop into a powerful beast. As soon as I powered up my laptop, women threw themselves at me in their swathes to bear witness to the 32gbs of raw unadulterated technological power that was now within the clutches of my finger tips.
