This Darth Vader pen comes in a super nice gift box. The pen is nice and heavy. The mechanism to open it is to essentially pull it from both ends and the middle opens up and the pen tip nicely comes out. As with any quality pen this writes super smoothly. It really is a very nice pen regardless of whether it's Star Wars themed or not. I actually plan to use this in business meetings it's so nice. Definitely recommended.

I got this Cross X Star Wars Darth Vader Rollerball pen and it will stay n its premium gift box, because I will be keeping it until I die. I have a number of Star Wars figures and I keep them put away for my own personal stash and go peek at them from time to time. The ink will probably dry up before I ever try this pen. I am tempted to display it and just may do that along with a few other Star Wars items.

This is a super thick/chunky pen, so if that isn't to your style, it's probably not going to be comfortable to use. The Darth Vader motif is pretty amazing, looks great without being cartoonish. The mechanism to expose the pen is awesome, just pull up on the top and it slides out, push down and it goes back in. The pen itself writes incredibly smooth.

The perfect pen for the Star Wars fan. Cross has always been a personal favorite of mine, making quality pens for several decades. This one comes in its own case and has Darth Vader on it. Star Wars fans will have to battle themselves as to whether or not to use it or display it with their Star Wars memorabilia.

The pen writes very nicely, but it is a bit thick--if you are looking for a fine tip, you will need to replace the cartridge or should look elsewhere.Beyond the writing quality, having Darth Vader on your pen is guaranteed to get a lot of compliments--as such, it is a great gift for any Star Wars fan.

Bought this for my hubby's Christmas along with a Millenium Falcon notebook and he loved them. The pen is really well made, and in a lovely presentation box. It was also very reasonably priced for themed Cross pen. I'd highly recommend for the Star Wars fan in your life.

Has a nice weight to it and Pilot G2 refills also work with this pen. So if you are like me and you write small it is a way to get the extra fine point refills that cross doesn't offer. That would be the only thing bad I can say about this pen at this time.

This pen is elegant, nostalgic and when it opens it has a shiny green just like Luke Skywalker's light saber ! Well done, Cross, well doen!
