When I first sprayed Costume National Homme I found it quite strong and nauseating. There was a little too much of everything all at once. It smelt like a thick, resinous forest with runny, liquified honey.After this scent settles however the scent is intoxicating, in a way. It's like a gourmand : rich, syrupy, spicy and earthy.

Super long lasting and good projection. A fresh masculine warm spiced, cinnamon and clove based scent. Quite a heavy scent so better suited for cooler weather of UK late autumn / winter. A bit overpowering for office use and can be divisive in its appeal to others, especially if oversprayed.

I've read few review about this perfume but I was hesitant to purchase one as the cheapest I saw then was £57. Immediately I saw one for £27 I just bought it and i've never been disappointed. The longevity is extraordinary as well as the basenotes.

this came fast, in lovely packaging and is a really great spicey, earthy, warm scent. its for men, but im a girl and wear it as it has a sort of luscious warm, non sweet, woody smell i like.good value too for a scent this complex and original

Very good quality fragrance for the price - reminds me of Creed Viking but with cloves added and better longetivity. I "blind bought" this based on recommendations as this isn't easy to find or test in stores - I wasn't disappointed.

What a fantastic discovery. Love the fragrance. Great for autumn and winter. Not sure about hot summer.So bought Ultra male for summer.

Beautiful masculine fragrance. Perhaps best suited to autumn and winter. Very deep and as an ear de parfum it is long lasting.

Fall winter scent well blended one of my favourites have a back up bottle many people like this Clive cinnamon joy.

Unique smell draw compliments..Reminds me of tomford oud wood on the dry down.. my wife love it
