I decided to switch from the Intel systems simply because AMD are better value for money. After ordering the Asus R.O.G X470 Strix Motherboard & thee AMD 2700X CPU, I needed new DDR4 memory. Now which to buy was the question as I read about some modules being more temperamental than others. So I did my research and went onto Asus`s website and got a list of compatible ram that worked with their boards for the Ryzen system. The Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO drew my attention so I ordered it and to cut a long story short, it worked straight out of the box. I just went into the Bios and selected D.O.C.P “Amd`s version of Intels xmp” and it saw the ram and the speed and I selected it and restarted the bios and boom we were off to the races. The speed of the ram I bought was 3000mhz, so I thought I would try to bump it to 3200mhz and that worked straight away. Now the sweet spot for Ryzen system is around 3000-3200mhz so I didn’t see the need to go even further. I am more than happy with that speed. The RGB is a nice touch but as I’m nearly the big five zero now & well, let’s just say I’m kinda to old for that but it’s nice to have if you want it. It’s good with the profile of division 2 though and yes I still play the odd game as I got this game free with the cpu.Now in my case I will give this memory a good solid 10/10 as it purely works when you set it up in the bios as all ram will run at 2133mhz in the bios until you set it up.At the point of writing this review, the Ram cost me £215 for 32gb, a steal compared to this time last year.Hope you enjoy the images included and if you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

Okay, so, it's RAM.Not the most exciting thing in the world, right? But if you don't have any RAM, your computer is not going to, well, work.So you need RAM. Why buy this set? Because it's goooood. And, as the title says, it also looks good!To get it out of the way: This is DDR4 RAM. DDR4 only works with certain motherboards (and hence certain processors which fit those boards) combinations. Check that your motherboard will accept DDR4 before you buy this - you don't want to be trying to hammer the sticks into an incompatible motherboard.Assuming you do have the right hardware, these are a dream to fit. Takes about two minutes to slide each stick in and make sure they're secure in the motherboard slots. That's it, job done. The sticks feel robust, and I managed not to drop either of them into the case as a result. Then you turn your machine on.Immediately, two things are noticeable:First, if you're upgrading from <16GB of RAM, you'll see a performance increase. Well, i did, anyway. Everything felt smoother, and multitasking involved less delays. So functionally, these are as expected - and they've got the quality we've come to expect of Corsair. The second is, they light up! There's some included software for configuring which lights to display and when, if you don't want your PC internals to look like a disco, but it's very pretty, in any event. It apparently synchronises with other lit Corsair hardware, if you're building out a machine. So yeah. It's good. Feels quality, looks nice, and delivers solid performance. If you're buying a new machine, or switching to DDR4 in an upgrade, this is a great choice.

Great RAM sticks. Really complement my now ageing PC build. When i first ordered the parts for my PC back in 2016 i knew i wanted a white and black colour scheme so got a case to and motherboard (the asus Z170-A) Took 3 years for me to get white RAM sticks but i am glad i waited.Install, as with most RAM, was an absolute breeze. Popped the old sticks out and slotted the new sticks in and ''voila''! Boot up in to BIOS and set the speed to 3200mhz as advertised. Everything is running sweet. The RGB lighting is amazing if you are in to that sort of thing like i am. I have recently become addicted to anything RGB so have got a razer RGB mouse, Razer RGB Keyboard, Razer RGB desk mat, Razer RGB Headphone stand...blah blah you get the idea. I also recently bought and installed the Corsair Hydro 100i Platinum RGB CPU cooler which like these RAM sticks are excellent. The software to control the lighting effects is called Corsair icue. I found the software to be very user friendly after coming from Razer Synapse. As soon as it was installed it instantly detected both my RAM and CPU cooler and i can sync the lighting patterns for the Corsair kit nicely. My bedroom now looks like an acid rave when i am playing games and me and my cat love it.There is cheaper RAM available which is just as good at being RAM as these are, however, i would say that if you like RGB and have the spare cash then do get these. Just please check online and in forums to ensure that your motherboard is compatible.

I’ve been updating my PC with an Intel 9900K CPU on an Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard. I wanted some fast RAM to compliment the setup. I settled on two of these Corsair Vengeance RGB modules giving me 16GB of RAM. I went for the 3600 MHz ones as I didn’t want to overclock them.Since popping them into the motherboard, they have worked faultlessly and at the rated speed. They are definitely plug and forget. The only setting up I needed to do was to set the colours I wanted. The LEDs are nice and bright but can be dimmed if needed using the Corsair iCUE software. The software has to be downloaded but it works well. Incidentally, the software will control the motherboard lights as well.A lot of people say that this can’t be done as Asus uses its own Aura software. They’re wrong. You do have to download and install the Aura software but not have to use it. iCUE will then be able to control it all. These memory modules are a little more expensive than some other modules but from experience they are well worth the extra. They have good built-in heatsinks and rarely get passed be a little warm to the touch. As long as there a little breeze flowing around them and you shouldn’t have any problems, even if you want to overclock them.Overall, they are a little pricey but that shouldn’t deter you. They are worth it!

I decided to upgrade my RAM and decided I wanted to get something more high end than the plain looking 2400MHz DDR4 RAM I was using previously. I decided on 2 by 8Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro sticks and settled on 3200MHz as the best value option at the time of buying (with an assumption that the performance improvement with frequency is linear).I don't have benchmarks, so the performance improvement is hard to detect in day to day use, as you can probably imagine. However, the RGB lighting (as ridiculous as the whole RGB thing is getting at this point) is honestly pretty nice and really stands out.My only nitpick is that I also have an Asus Aura supporting motherboard and neither Asus nor Corsair support anything other than the lighting in their own products. This isn't a suprise, but it is a little inconvenient that third party software is required to sync up all the lighting in my setup. These are a great choice from the point of view of performance and aesthetics and have been working great for me. No real complaints.

Would like to say this is my first time in buying high proformance memory etc i normally buy just standered ram but i recently bought a 1070 8 gig card and a ryzen 2700X so i was looking for decent good ram and came across this it was priced really well i ordered it and was delivered well before 1pm came in from work and put both sticks in pc the pc booted up no problem without any issues but then i looked at teh task manger/proformance it kept saying 2400mhz so after figuring it out it was my fault i didn't up date my bios to the latest one and after updating it it finally showed up at 3200mhz the memory runs really really coupled with the 2700X my game look amazing and profourms well plus they light up and change colour really really well (sorry about the poor image quality)know due to my bored only having 2 ram slots theres no way i can buy another set but when i do get another motherbored i will defo be buying another set of theses to match my other 2 i rate them 11/10 amazing profourmance and value.

It's been a while since I built my last PC. I expected to plug these in and get the rated 3200Mhz speed with no further effort. However, you actually have to overclock these from the bios settings to get them up to the 3200MHZ mark. These easiest way to do this to enable the XMP profile (pretty easy on a Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 motherboard) . However, for me plating Battlefield 4 and 5 would result in a crash to desktop after a couple of minutes gaming. After researching a few web pages I found that people had this occur when they overclocked their memory - but surely I was just running at the rated XMP speeds? I decided to run memtest86 and sure enough, the memory would fail tests at the settings provided in the XMP profile! I had to tweak the settings, notably increasing the Trc setting from 54 to 56 to get it to run stable. Bit of a pain.Otherwise the RAM looks solidly constructed and the lights look pretty!

I've used Corsair RAM in my last 3 builds and it's always been a good choice. I've just put 32GB of these RGB DDR4 sticks into a new Z390 based build and they're running perfectly fine at 2666MHz.They're taller than I expected so take care if you have a large CPU cooler. I have an m-ATX motherboard with an MSI CORE FROZR cooler and they only fit because they're situated far enough away from the cooler...any closer and they'd be too tall (they overlap the bottom of the Frozr's heatsink/fan by about 2/3mm).The RGB is pretty funky (I've never used RGB RAM before) and can be controlled either by the Corsair software or by your motherboard. The LED strips are fairly large and can be configured with various levels of brightness (and colour combinations, obviously).I'll continue to by Corsair RAM (the DDR3 that I bought for my previous build over 4yrs ago is still going strong), until they give me a reason not to.

The RGB effects on the RAM are amazing, the light bar effectively dissipates the light making a nice even colour grading. In particular I like the white colour to contrast the black PCB on the motherboard. The speed and latency of the RAM are good and are excellent when paired with the new ryzen CPUs. The RAM was great value when on a black friday sale, though at retail prices, other options are also good. The only issues I've had with the RAM have been that the XMP profile when enabled causes windows to blue screen immediately, though dialling in the overclock manually does seem to be stable - not sure if this is a problem with the RAM, motherboard or CPU though. Also iCUE does not work well with Gigabyte RGB fusion.

RGB looks better than shown in the images - really smooth blend of the LED's into a nice solid colour wave that is easily customised.Beware when upgrading RAM that you will likely need to unlock higher RAM clock speeds on your motherboard BIOS to benefit from the speed increase. Different MOBO manufacturers will require different methods to do this so check your motherboard manual.During boot, press DEL or sometimes F10 to enter BIOS. Within OC settings, you are looking for "enable XMP profile" or "set RAM clock speed" or similar. Also beware that your RAM overall will only run as fast as the slowest sticks you have installed.

I bought this Corsair kit last summer. I'm only writing my review now as i have spent the last few weeks overclocking this ram kit on my new Ryzen PC build. In summery this kit is excellent. It's Hynix CJR. And is comparable to Samsung B-Die. I was able to overclock my kit to 3800mhz (1900mhz IF) with 16-21-21-36-56-487 timings. Stable. Delivering a 20%+ bump in performance. Right at the limit of my MSI B450 Carbon. Corsair Icue is really good on this kit and works in perfect synchronization with my Corsair Icue case fans. Thanks to Corsair for a great Ram kit. Thanks to Amazon for a great price.

I already had 16gb of 3200mhz I bought off here for about £160 (I think) over a year ago... I know it wasn't cheap but at that time I was upgrading my pc as the oculus rift wouldn't run on my old system so out with old faithfull 2600k hd7850xt and in with 8600k gtx1080 anyhow I know theres no need for 32gb but at £89.98 for these but worth it to have in and at some point will use them in my son aging ddr3 rig when I upgrade that... or give him my hand me downs. So for the money I thought sod it in the basket it goes as I can't see it getting any cheaper.

I've had no problems running this at its rated speed in multiple systemsLooks much better than the original Vengeance RGB in my opinion, definitely has much better brightness consistency than the original (which are brighter in the middle), and has much better software control - haven't had any issues with one stick or section randomly not responding, or turning off.Compared to the G.Skill Trident Z RGB, which I also have, it's a bit brighter with a cooler colour temperature. I'll take Corsair's iCUE over aura software any day though.

I’ve heard that 32gb ram is overkill for a gaming PC, but honestly, doubling the ram from 16gb in my rig has made a big difference. I can’t boast about extra FPS as a result but there is a smoothness now that didn’t exist before. I’m running an OC’d 8086k and a 2080 and feel that this will keep me going now for many years. If you can, the extra ram is a subtle improvement that justifies the cost. The ram is very solid, great quality, stays cool and looks great with the RGB lighting. You can make it as wild or subtle as you require.

This product is an amazing deal at the time of me writing this, at only £79.99! It is exactly what I needed at the time so I bought it. When it came it was exactly as expected. Installation was simple, but when the RGB Lights turned on I was blown away by how bright the LEDs were! I'd recommend this to anyone that is looking for an upgrade to their current build and is looking for some added lighting. The 3200mhz clock speed really helps with rendering out videos faster and the extra 16gb helped a lot with video editing in general!
