I decided to switch from the Intel systems simply because AMD are better value for money. After ordering the Asus R.O.G X470 Strix Motherboard & thee AMD 2700X CPU, I needed new DDR4 memory. Now which to buy was the question as I read about some modules being more temperamental than others. So I did my research and went onto Asus`s website and got a list of compatible ram that worked with their boards for the Ryzen system. The Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO drew my attention so I ordered it and to cut a long story short, it worked straight out of the box. I just went into the Bios and selected D.O.C.P “Amd`s version of Intels xmp” and it saw the ram and the speed and I selected it and restarted the bios and boom we were off to the races. The speed of the ram I bought was 3000mhz, so I thought I would try to bump it to 3200mhz and that worked straight away. Now the sweet spot for Ryzen system is around 3000-3200mhz so I didn’t see the need to go even further. I am more than happy with that speed. The RGB is a nice touch but as I’m nearly the big five zero now & well, let’s just say I’m kinda to old for that but it’s nice to have if you want it. It’s good with the profile of division 2 though and yes I still play the odd game as I got this game free with the cpu.Now in my case I will give this memory a good solid 10/10 as it purely works when you set it up in the bios as all ram will run at 2133mhz in the bios until you set it up.At the point of writing this review, the Ram cost me £215 for 32gb, a steal compared to this time last year.Hope you enjoy the images included and if you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

Great RAM sticks. Really complement my now ageing PC build. When i first ordered the parts for my PC back in 2016 i knew i wanted a white and black colour scheme so got a case to and motherboard (the asus Z170-A) Took 3 years for me to get white RAM sticks but i am glad i waited.Install, as with most RAM, was an absolute breeze. Popped the old sticks out and slotted the new sticks in and ''voila''! Boot up in to BIOS and set the speed to 3200mhz as advertised. Everything is running sweet. The RGB lighting is amazing if you are in to that sort of thing like i am. I have recently become addicted to anything RGB so have got a razer RGB mouse, Razer RGB Keyboard, Razer RGB desk mat, Razer RGB Headphone stand...blah blah you get the idea. I also recently bought and installed the Corsair Hydro 100i Platinum RGB CPU cooler which like these RAM sticks are excellent. The software to control the lighting effects is called Corsair icue. I found the software to be very user friendly after coming from Razer Synapse. As soon as it was installed it instantly detected both my RAM and CPU cooler and i can sync the lighting patterns for the Corsair kit nicely. My bedroom now looks like an acid rave when i am playing games and me and my cat love it.There is cheaper RAM available which is just as good at being RAM as these are, however, i would say that if you like RGB and have the spare cash then do get these. Just please check online and in forums to ensure that your motherboard is compatible.

So, I've been using Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM for a couple of years and it has done me very well indeed. 16GB of DDR4 purchased for around £180, which has now dropped down to a bargain £70.Unfortunately for me, during these weird times, I decided to customise my Desktop to the max with all various softwares, mainly the ones from Stardock.Because of this, I was sat at 60% RAM usage on Desktop out of my 16GB, so I decided to upgrade. My lord, the prices are all over the place!16GB of Corsair LPX was £70, 32GB was £140, yet 64GB came to a whopping £750! And these are all at C15 3000Mhz... that's ridiculous!Be careful if you're thinking of upgrading guys!In the end I found this Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM and decided I'd go for it,yes it was £70 or so more expensive than buying 2 lots of 32GB Vengeance LPX, but it has RGB, whereas the LPX doesn't and it was still 50% of the price of buying a set of 64GB LPX.Initially I wasn't sure whether or not it would work on my system, but luckily my system posted fine after placing in one stick, so I then replaced my 2 old sticks of RAM and installed all 4 of these.I've not tried using the XMP profiles yet, so I've got them running native at 2666Mhz, but I'm fine with that as I mainly want the actual memory capacity, rather than the speed. So, I'm very happy with these and can recommend them to anyone who needs the extra RAM.For those wondering:- Gigabyte Aorus 7 Gaming Wi-Fi- Ryzen 7 2700X- Gigabyte RX Vega 64 Gaming-OC

I’ve been updating my PC with an Intel 9900K CPU on an Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard. I wanted some fast RAM to compliment the setup. I settled on two of these Corsair Vengeance RGB modules giving me 16GB of RAM. I went for the 3600 MHz ones as I didn’t want to overclock them.Since popping them into the motherboard, they have worked faultlessly and at the rated speed. They are definitely plug and forget. The only setting up I needed to do was to set the colours I wanted. The LEDs are nice and bright but can be dimmed if needed using the Corsair iCUE software. The software has to be downloaded but it works well. Incidentally, the software will control the motherboard lights as well.A lot of people say that this can’t be done as Asus uses its own Aura software. They’re wrong. You do have to download and install the Aura software but not have to use it. iCUE will then be able to control it all. These memory modules are a little more expensive than some other modules but from experience they are well worth the extra. They have good built-in heatsinks and rarely get passed be a little warm to the touch. As long as there a little breeze flowing around them and you shouldn’t have any problems, even if you want to overclock them.Overall, they are a little pricey but that shouldn’t deter you. They are worth it!

First off, this RAM seems very stable in my Ryzen 3600 based system - good. RGB is also lovely - bright, good colours and I currently have it synched with my Corsair mouse using the iCue software, rather than the MSI Mystic Light - haven't tried that yet but the motherboard RGB ain't great and that's all I have at present! But, my big disappointment is the RAM chips Corsair are now using. Maybe I should have done more research on this beforehand but they have moved from Samsung to Hynix, at least in my sticks anyway. Bummer. I was hoping for some overclocking goodness but I can never seem to get anywhere with the Hynix stuff, even when following the settings in a utility such as the Ryzen RAM Calculator.Got these to 3333 but that's it. I could possibly raise the CAS to up the frequency a bit more but that's bot a great trade-off. I know from past experience that much more can be achieved with Samsung chips and to be honest, that's one of the reasons I went for these. Hey ,ho. Maybe different batches are using different chips? I don't know. But that's my experience with these. It's good, colourful RAM, but I was expecting more from it.

I decided to upgrade my RAM and decided I wanted to get something more high end than the plain looking 2400MHz DDR4 RAM I was using previously. I decided on 2 by 8Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro sticks and settled on 3200MHz as the best value option at the time of buying (with an assumption that the performance improvement with frequency is linear).I don't have benchmarks, so the performance improvement is hard to detect in day to day use, as you can probably imagine. However, the RGB lighting (as ridiculous as the whole RGB thing is getting at this point) is honestly pretty nice and really stands out.My only nitpick is that I also have an Asus Aura supporting motherboard and neither Asus nor Corsair support anything other than the lighting in their own products. This isn't a suprise, but it is a little inconvenient that third party software is required to sync up all the lighting in my setup. These are a great choice from the point of view of performance and aesthetics and have been working great for me. No real complaints.

Would like to say this is my first time in buying high proformance memory etc i normally buy just standered ram but i recently bought a 1070 8 gig card and a ryzen 2700X so i was looking for decent good ram and came across this it was priced really well i ordered it and was delivered well before 1pm came in from work and put both sticks in pc the pc booted up no problem without any issues but then i looked at teh task manger/proformance it kept saying 2400mhz so after figuring it out it was my fault i didn't up date my bios to the latest one and after updating it it finally showed up at 3200mhz the memory runs really really coupled with the 2700X my game look amazing and profourms well plus they light up and change colour really really well (sorry about the poor image quality)know due to my bored only having 2 ram slots theres no way i can buy another set but when i do get another motherbored i will defo be buying another set of theses to match my other 2 i rate them 11/10 amazing profourmance and value.

It's been a while since I built my last PC. I expected to plug these in and get the rated 3200Mhz speed with no further effort. However, you actually have to overclock these from the bios settings to get them up to the 3200MHZ mark. These easiest way to do this to enable the XMP profile (pretty easy on a Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 motherboard) . However, for me plating Battlefield 4 and 5 would result in a crash to desktop after a couple of minutes gaming. After researching a few web pages I found that people had this occur when they overclocked their memory - but surely I was just running at the rated XMP speeds? I decided to run memtest86 and sure enough, the memory would fail tests at the settings provided in the XMP profile! I had to tweak the settings, notably increasing the Trc setting from 54 to 56 to get it to run stable. Bit of a pain.Otherwise the RAM looks solidly constructed and the lights look pretty!

I've used Corsair RAM in my last 3 builds and it's always been a good choice. I've just put 32GB of these RGB DDR4 sticks into a new Z390 based build and they're running perfectly fine at 2666MHz.They're taller than I expected so take care if you have a large CPU cooler. I have an m-ATX motherboard with an MSI CORE FROZR cooler and they only fit because they're situated far enough away from the cooler...any closer and they'd be too tall (they overlap the bottom of the Frozr's heatsink/fan by about 2/3mm).The RGB is pretty funky (I've never used RGB RAM before) and can be controlled either by the Corsair software or by your motherboard. The LED strips are fairly large and can be configured with various levels of brightness (and colour combinations, obviously).I'll continue to by Corsair RAM (the DDR3 that I bought for my previous build over 4yrs ago is still going strong), until they give me a reason not to.

I'm happy with these memory modules and I think they represent good value for money. I like the ability to control the RGB features using Corsairs ICUE software. You can also use your motherboards software.(at least with my motherboard). The modules that I received appear to be Samsung B Die but I could not overclock them to a higher frequency. I'm using a MSI B450 Pro Carbon motherboard and a Ryzen 3800x CPU. I have had to keep them at their stock 3200 mhz rated speed. I have a similar Corsair RGB Pro 2 x 8 GB Kit that uses Hynix modules that I was able to overclock to 3600 mhz. I use Thaiphoon Burner software in addition to DRAM Calculator for Ryzen software to find out the manufacturer of the modules and the timings to use if attemping to overclock memory. At the time I bought the Ram it was very competitively priced on Amazon, this tempted me to go for a 32gb kit.

Got 1 2 x 16gb 3200mhzWas able to overclock it to 3600mhz nicely. And now just got another 2x16, but this one crashes with xmp enabled(3200mhz) runing mem test it just a waterfall of errors, i bought another kit to hope that its just bad luck, but the 2nd new kit also had a waterfall of errors with xmp (same v4).The kits that have issues are samsung v4 die's where my first kit was hynix v5. its actually a whole major version behind. Make sure XMP profile works on your stick otherwise return it.Date written (11-may-2020) Batch number) 201803***Other than the issues, RGB lighting is great. though wish they put more dense rgb strips inside as you can make out the dark spots.(its not super noticeable)Edit(Date: 3-july-2020): decided to take another stab at my luck, and this time got a v5 hynex kit and everything is good!

I absolutely love this ram.I built my first gaming PC earlier in the year and got 16gb of this. However the OCD side of me didn't like 2 ram sticks in a 4 dim bay, so I had to get another 2.The 3600mhz is perfect for 3rd Gen Ryzen that favours faster ram. The timings aren't superb but they can easily be tightened very safely to CL16. You can go to 14 too but that's about as good as its getting (do this at your own risk)The RGB looks good and is quite smooth on flowing effects. Icue software is meh. Not bad but not great. It's been a little bit buggy but works for the most part. There's been an update lately and seems a lot more secure.Overall I'm extremely happy with this Ram. It's low profile, fast as hell, very easy to install and has good RGB. A winner in my books.

The RGB effects on the RAM are amazing, the light bar effectively dissipates the light making a nice even colour grading. In particular I like the white colour to contrast the black PCB on the motherboard. The speed and latency of the RAM are good and are excellent when paired with the new ryzen CPUs. The RAM was great value when on a black friday sale, though at retail prices, other options are also good. The only issues I've had with the RAM have been that the XMP profile when enabled causes windows to blue screen immediately, though dialling in the overclock manually does seem to be stable - not sure if this is a problem with the RAM, motherboard or CPU though. Also iCUE does not work well with Gigabyte RGB fusion.

I purchased the 3600mhz 2x8 GB kit. I bought it to replace 2400mhz corsair lpx ram that I had in my PC before. I took the old sticks out, put in the new ones, opened the BIOS and selected the new XMP option, and it worked straight away. For anyone looking to buy these, don't forget to choose the XMP profile in your RAM settings in your motherboard (usually accesible by pressing the DEL key when the computer is about to boot into windows. They look great in the system, and as I bought them when they were on sale, they were great value for money. I would recommend buying these to anyone who wants a good looking PC which performs well.

I bought this Corsair kit last summer. I'm only writing my review now as i have spent the last few weeks overclocking this ram kit on my new Ryzen PC build. In summery this kit is excellent. It's Hynix CJR. And is comparable to Samsung B-Die. I was able to overclock my kit to 3800mhz (1900mhz IF) with 16-21-21-36-56-487 timings. Stable. Delivering a 20%+ bump in performance. Right at the limit of my MSI B450 Carbon. Corsair Icue is really good on this kit and works in perfect synchronization with my Corsair Icue case fans. Thanks to Corsair for a great Ram kit. Thanks to Amazon for a great price.
