Great low cost quiet and effective replacement processor fan. Pre loaded with thermal paste to go straight onto the processor. Minimal fitting instructions included. I found it fiddly to install although this was not the fault of the Cooler Master, I think the design spec of the of the fixing is poor for the myopic like myself. My learning = ensure that the four locking pins are in the open position on insertion and to lock them in diagonal pairs to even out the pressure on the processor and motherboard. Check youTube for video of this.Cheap and cheerful, not really for the mod frenzied over clocker, works fine on an i5 under day to day use including much gaming.

The cooler on my i7 froze solid and the CPU got red hot and all I could smell was burning plastic, but at least the CPU didn't burn out. So, I ordered this cooler for next day delivery and it came next day.Replacing the standard Intel fan was easy, and after scraping off the old silicon grease, I fitted the new fan in a few minutes.The positives for the fan are: easy fitment and effective.The negative for the fan is that is it noisier than the original Intel fan, and far noisier than I had expected.So, just 4*

So far this is very quiet, and cooling my i5 more than adequately. Easy to install ( If you're having trouble, you may find you need to rotate the pushpins prior to pushing them down ), and was up and running in about a minute. If you aren't into overclocking, this is all you need really. Bargain price too.

Very reasonable priced for a coolermaster product, looks cool and runs very silently, works well with all socket 775 processors I tried it on, eg Pentium D 925, Pentium 4 HT 631, and Core 2 duo E8400. Runs a little cooler than stock fan and is perfect replacement.

Works just as expected, great value and performance from something you would expect to be no better than a stock cooler, keeps a 6600k cool for 24/7 use in my home server and works fenominal

Nice, quiet, decent looking bit of kit that keeps temps down. Only issue is the usual with these types of fans, you have to be really careful whilst fitting as the legs are really fiddly.

Bought this as a replacement fan for my ageing desktop computer running an Asus P5GC-MX motherboard. It's relatively quiet and efficient, and was easy to install.

So far, so good; spins and keeps the CPU 2-3 degrees cooler than stock heatsink.
