I am very pleased with this case. It is very solid construction with clever little touches such as retained thumb screws (thereby pleasing Dmitri at Hardware Canucks) so you don't lose them plus the retention of the side panel until you lift it away really adds to the premium feel of the case. The carrying handles at the top are very, very useful when building with this case as you turn it around frequently to put the parts in and manage the cables etc.I've deducted one star because I believe it needs better cable management and maybe half an inch to an inch more space behind the motherboard tray for cables to run as it gets quite compressed back there. If they found a way of stopping the cables interfering with putting the side panel back on that would be grand too!A raised metal bit that cables would press up against instead of the actual bit you put the side panel on would prevent any issues. I say this because my SATA power cables get a bit crushed for my HDD's when putting the side panel.I would like more lighting options to be available to purchase to connect to the fan and lighting controller, and it is a shame the fan controller doesn't link to the motherboard for PWM control. The case offers a host of SSD storage with two SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard tray and two on top of the PSU shroud. They can also go in the HDD cages. You can buy additional SSD pockets from the Cooler Master online store at about £5 a pop.An additional note is that you can upgrade to this from a Master Case 5 or a Master Case Pro 5 by buying the upgrade kit direct from Cooler Master. Its what I did. Finally, you can get a 280mm radiator top mounted in this but it requires having the fans on top and getting it perfectly aligned to screw through the fans to the radiator to secure it, can be tricky. You also have to remove the optical drive bracket. Finally, finally, the HDD cage under the shroud can be moved back enough to a different position in order to accommodate a front mounted radiator.P.S. The 3 drive cage above the shroud and the optical drive bay bracket can be completely removed. Can take three fans at the front, one at rear and two at top, 140mm or 120mm.

I bought the mastercase maker 5 as I was disappointed with the nzxt h440 which came with my new build pc, this was to replace a corsair 600t so it literally had big shoes to fill.I could talk about how good the mastercase maker 5 is for a while but to cut to the chase I find this case to exceed my expectations in many areas. It's smaller than what I was used to but very easy and spacious to work on the inside. Fans are easy to fit and the power supply is easily accessible even though it is under a shroud, you don't have to pull it out to access the connectors (if it's modular). I think this is a good case for non modular cases as there appears to be enough room to tuck away any unused cables. The window isn't glass but still looks good quality and does not seem to scratch easily.Cable management on the back of the case is easy with pre fitted valcro straps and lots of option points for cable ties. What surprised me the most about this case was how well it suppresses noise as it isn't advertised as a so called silent case. I'm mentioning this because the nzxt h440 is very very loud compared to this case even though I ported the same system and case fan over and kept everything in the equivalent location.I can only make one criticism of this case and that's with the 3.5mm hdd tray (the triple tray, not the double one at the bottom). The issue I had is it would not go into the very bottom hole in this case due to where the back plugs are set. I tried removing the plug but it was too tight for me to unscrew. If you can try not to have to use it and leave it out for your system. It has enough room for 2 small hard drives and 2 larger ones anyway without this. If your mother board has m.2 drive slots then you could easily do this. I will eventually buy new drives to replace my existing ones for this reason.I can't not mention the brilliant build quality of this case so yeah I just did. It's well worth its price and like I said earlier if you want a quite pc with unrestricted air flow this is the one to go for.

This is a great case, very quiet (yet not silent) as it has this sound dampening foam on the front for the fans.It was very easy to assemble my build in this case except for my watercooler unitMy build:Asus Z270E Strixi7 7700kGTX1070 Strix 8g (looks real nice!)NZXT x62 (had some trouble figuring out how to fit this in, only fits on the top holder and I have put it with the fans on top and the radiator below them [ the NZXT website compatibility guide says it fits in the front but couldnt get in there.])M2 SSD SM961a HDD in the bottomRM750i in the bottom (cables were a bit stiff to move around the hidden side of the case but I managed to fit those in ok)The fans that come with the case are not great and are a bit loud if you take all the covers off so I will be replacing them.I also would have liked a modular/optional filter in the back as now I am forced to use the back fan as an exhaust only otherwise risking bringing dust in, at least without buying a filter accessory. The top opening works nicely even when the cover seals the filter as there is plenty of space for air to go in through the sides of the 'tunnel'.The LED strip it came with is ok I guess, I do not really use it as I can see all the dust accumulating on the transparent side because of ?static electricity. It comes in handy when I want to quickly check something inside so would be nice if it came as a white light too.It has a nice feel to the touch and seems very durable. Only reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is the price as it could have been cheaper for what it offers.Something that noone else mentioned anywhere I read reviews: The modular parts of this case are all plastic but still look sleek and the side panels are made of metal.Good case to buy if you are willing to pay a premium for the minimalistic yet aggressive angular look!
