I have written a bit on these tyres previously however here is an update.I purchased my first tyre (used on the back of my bike) in mid June 2014, yesterday I had my FIRST puncture ( 9 October, 2014).What sort of mileage do I do? At least 25 miles each day, often with a longer ride on the weekends... so I can't say enough about how good these tyres are for me.I have read so much about punctures and so on, all I can say is that I am absolutely puzzled by it... when I first wrote I suggested that those that experience punctures check the inside of their rims, check your wheel lining... and check the sides of your rims for sharps bits of alliminium that may have flaked off if you have had a

lol i just put on my new Continental Faltreifen Grand Prix 4000 S Ii Tyre pair and i need to say they are amazing. just back from my first 4h test ride and on the road roll very quick even with havy wind on front of you. after i went on local football field and after on road by the river, and nothing happens nopuncher. i have to say i weigh 100kg. before i have Lugano, Schwalbe, different Continental, Victoria etc. and still on the road have puncher. THEY ARE AMAZING, the best tyre 2018 but now Continental have Grand Prix 5000 but cost much more. one more think if you have road bike and want to go off road they are for you!!!

I just purchased my second set of these tires. The first set lasted 3500 miles and were retired due to sidewall abrasions that had started to cut into the tire. This has been mentioned by previous posters as a weak spot. They are fast tires but tend to square off fairly quickly. Only one flat at 3500 miles caused by a goat head. They require little effort to mount on the rim and can be done by hand without levers. Pretty good tire for the price. If you shop around you can get a pair for $85. I'll continue to use these tires until something better comes along.

These tyres are great and currently are the pinnacle of continentals venture into bike tyres from the combination of technology used and it really does work. I personally went with the 20mm tyre which doesn't have much of a side wall so there's no issue of it getting damaged as some have mentioned. The tyre has basically converted my front wheel into a blade too which handles amazingly considering the contact area with the ground. As for puncture protection I have yet to get one and have cycled about 1000 miles

Some people complain about getting alot of flats with these, so far I only have 100 miles on them but no flats and the roads here are horrible. They are comfy, they roll fast..it is probably going to be my go to tire for now unless i start experiencing an unusual amount of flats as some have. So far..so good. Love em

They ride great but are a total nightmare to fit as they are incredibly tight. Getting them onto a pair of kinesis racelight disc rims took hours and untold swearing, Not to mention many inner tube casualties. 10x harder to fit than the gatorskins I had on previously.

A great tyre for road bikes. It is very reliable in many ways: I have yet to get a puncture with those tyres. The superb grip makes riding in bad conditions less daunting. The reduction in friction will noticeably improve your speed when you upgrade to those!

Arrived next day after a blow out on previous GP4000 S2. Great tyres but lets hope this one lasts a bit longer than my previous that failed at around 1,500 miles. Fair number of reviews saying the side walls are a common failure point on these.

I can't say enough about these tires. I kept getting flats on my commute over some rough roads, but I've put it in about 200 mi now with these and no problems at all. It feels a like a new bike compared to my original cross tires!

Very comfortable tires it took me two or three rides to get the air pressure right I weigh 170 pounds and put 80 psi in the back and 70 in the front very comfortable and I see no change in my speed I think I'm faster

Performing very well after many miles in the summer. Use for general road rides and Time Trials. Fast and reasonable puncture protection. I side wall puncture in 3000 miles. Had to replace the tire.

Lovely tyres comfortable and roll well but be careful! I had continental grand prix 4 season tyres 28mm tyres on before but these new tyres do not fit as they are larger than the 4 seasons ?!?#

Have about 100 mi so far. Had Bontrager race and lot of flats, continental gatorskins, tough like iron and ride like it too. So far, these seem like a great tire, more comfortable and faster.

Delivered on time and in original boxes. Great product. Just about fit my tight geometry frame set (25 mm.). So far they seem smooth and fast and more robust than my old 23 mm Ultremo's!

Cyclists already know how good this tyre is and yes I found it great on my last Sportive.Has some protection against punctures too. Rolled well with a latex tube inside too.
