What a great game! - this is enjoyed by all ages, and everyone can play against each other, youngest to oldest. It is a simple game for two players, each one taking a turn to drop a coloured disc into the vertical board. You are allowed to place your disc anywhere, so that's on top of another one or onto an empty space on the lowest row.The idea is to get a row of 4 of your colour in a straight line in any direction, including the diagonals. The first one to get a line wins. Once you have won just drop the discs out the bottom to start again. Hence one 'game' only takes a few minutes. After a few goes, you will quickly realise that there is a strategy, and placing discs in certain places is of great benefit. This is great for developing young minds as it will make them think ahead and plan their moves.I love this game because, it is quick to set up and play, doesn't take up any space, all love it, makes a great birthday gift for boys and girls, makes everyone think, anyone can win either through luck or planning, it seems unbreakable, and it doesn't need batteries or make a noise!A great classic game - get it!

It's so much fun and I have noticed that through this game I have improved on my concentration skills. Honestly don't know where the time goes when playing this game. Careful-its very addictive so please be careful when buying this. The size is just perfect and let's us fully understand the other persons tricks. I bought one online from another shop and it came as a mini version: very difficult but this is just right. The box is also very sturdy thus also traveled with us on holiday.

Connect 4 is a classic game. It's essentially a more complex version of Noughts and Crosses, but with gravity dropped (!) in. You have to drop your pieces down the slots in turns, and create a line of four in a row. At first, it sounds simple, but there are skills - creating traps and forcing your opponent into them. It is a game I have played literally thousands of times and it never gets tired.

always popular over the years and still good fun to play.every house with children should have one as it's easy to set up and quick game to play but doesn't seem to get tiresom in our house.Even though it;s taken until now to buy this and my son is 9 It's a firm favourite and well worth the money and it's sturdy and stable but easy to assemble and pack away.we enjoy playing this with him.

Connect 4 is an absorbing and challenging game of vertical strategy that's easy to learn and fun to play. Rules are simple. Each player tries to build a row of four playing pieces in the frame - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - while trying to prevent his opponent from doing the same. Sounds easy, but it's not. The vertical play of this game requires the player to think ahead.

Plenty of fun for all, especially with the new take on and old game. Popping out your own counters to stop your opponent getting four, Keeps the kids going for hours planning how to out smart their opponent...Takes concentration. Good for kids pre-school and up who can recognise four counters in a row in their colour and the new games for those who know how to problem solve.

This is such an easy and quick game to play with my children (7 and 5), and they love it. The pieces are simple to put together, and the release mechanism at the bottom is also easy to work. There is also a top to fix on to stop the counters falling out when you store it away. There is a score system on the base too, that you slide along to keep track of who is winning .

Had hours of fun with my little granddaughter with this game over Christmas, my only quibble, there's no discard tray for when the counters are released. I used the box lid, but I'm pretty sure when I had this game for my sons, that there was one.Still a gem of a game, helps educate, colour identity, counting and gives a little bit of competition. Thank you.

Bought this for the grandchildren to play with. Have had hours of good old fashioned fun with the games and they have even made up one or two games themselves - good for promoting thinking, problem solving and imagination. Also good for reflexes. Have you ever tried putting all the discs in in one go and see how many "fours" you can make at random? Great fun.

I loved this game as a kid and decided to take Connect 4 with me on a trip to Zambia - it brought young and old together and hours of entertainment were had by all who joined in or just watched. Easy to play and no language barrier - I'd recommend anyone to take it wherever you go on your travels & leave it for the locals, it doesn't cost much!

A classic game that’s not to be missed I recommend this it’s nice and strong the box It’s a great game even for the younger kids and they can even entertain themselves by them self with this game even though it’s been for two people but the pieces are alright and strong not flimsy and easy to put together more or less doesn’t take any effort

I bought the game for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it. She asks me to play with her almost every day and she is getting really good in it. I think it's a real good learning game for children, and it's fun! We are not using the extra bits (the stickers) of the game, we're just playing plain Connect Four which gives us enough pleasure.

I play it with my 4 year old. it is not only great fun, but also teaches Maths, sequences, social skills like taking turns. It is not easy to get broken, which is important with little children. Overall it's 10 out of 10. Great product, great game. I also had smaller and bigger versions, but they weren't that good. This one is perfect!

Bought for a 5 and 7 year old. This version has additional variations on the original game, which the children picked up quickly and loved. This was bought as a replacement for a broken one that was purchased 3 or 4 years ago, this one seems more sturdy and will hopefully last a bit longer.A classic game and fun for all the family.
