This is a very nice robust torch.The batt lock is a great idea.The high and low beam lights are both pretty bright and used for camping more than adequate.The red light is however a bit too dim to be much use other than for very close work.Taking the battery off is real nail ripper only after further inspection did i notice there to be a plastic pry on the head band adjuster to use for this purpose.I very good bright robust head torch.

The Coleman CXO+ 150 is a great head torch. I was looking for an excellent value and high quality head torch with a powerful LED light source and this fits the bill. The Batterylock feature not only prevents the batteries going manky but also acts as a dual off switch - so no problems with the torch switching on in my rucksack by accident!

simple well built, i would prefer there was more than one light source as there is in the more powerful ones so there would be a better spread of light but this one has one LED that has two settings dim and bright so it a small circle in front of you would of preferred a wider spread of light you get with multiple LED's

Looks to be a sturdy, reliable item, unlike the cheap Chinese ones which conked out quickly. For many years I used a Coleman head-torch on night-shift to inspect sleeping patients on acute hospital wards, ideal for minimum disturbance. It had a pre-LED bulb but was always reliable.

Comes with Duracell batteries and has the ability to disconnect the batteries without removing them for longer life when being stored or not used.

Have owned for over 6 months now. Excellent torch - very reliable and easy on batteries. A great purchase.

Great headlight. Isolation feature keeps batteries alive for when you really need a lamp.
