My daughter has been using these with her friends as they run around the village and we are very impressed with range when they are out about is much further than we expected. It does lose signal through thick walls sometimes but in general work very well. We picked up some other kids on channel one but it’s very easy to switch to a different channel. They are quite small and have a sturdy belt clip. They have been dropped numerous times and left outside all night without any obvious signs of damage so pretty sturdy. You need 3 AAA batteries in each handset but they have lasted a couple of days with lots of use so far with no sign of running out.

A great pair of walkie talkies. They have a good reception, I have tried them when hubby is at the top of the garden cleaning his fish pond and for a pair of walkie talkies the sound is quite clear.They are small and fit in a jeans pocket or you can use the belt clip.There is a beep sound to indicate that you can talk which is good as then you dont keep on talking over one another.When my granddaughter visits she sometimes likes to meet her friend at the park five minutes away so I gave her one of these so I could tell her tea was ready, perfect, and no carrying her mobile phone out with her.

There is alot to like about these. They really are very small, but the volume goes very loud!! Had over 2mile range out of them, and with quality batteries, a week of high use.Downsides, no CTCSS, so limited to 8 channels and not able to set subchannels. Battery cover and clip arrangement is poorly designed. No supplied batteries (better buying decent ones anyway). None of these downsides really warrant it not being a 5 star product. I would say understand the significance of CTCSS before purchasing however, especially if you live in a built up area

We really loves these little walkie talkiies. Set up is simple (be prepared to supply batteries - we use the Amazon Basics sets), we were ready to use them right away.Our use is around boot sales. Rather than use phones which are a bit patchy (plus I forget to turn on the ringer) these allow you to get attention easily. OK they are not subtle but really do the job, even if you get the odd odd look.Sound quality is good for the price (more than adequate), build is reasonable for such a cheap set.Recommended.

These offer excellent performance and represent great value at the advertised price. There range is pretty good, and especially useful in woodland or open areas where the mobile phone coverage is patchy. The sound quality is reasonably good. They are powered by 6 AAA batteries which are not included. They do look and feel a bit plastic and the buttons are sometimes easy to press accidently, but all round these offer good functionality, either for adults or for children to have fun with.

With a range of 3km these small walkie talkies are brilliant for hiking.Using these with my nephew meant he could run off with his sister and we could be in constant communication.In built up areas the range is reduced down to about 1-2 km i found but this is still pretty good for such small handsets.The batteries last a while, which is good as they don't use onboard rechargeable batteries. Overall at this price i am very impressed with these

We had a lot of fun playing with these, and my son went for a walk so we could see how far they could go before losing connection. He got quite far (although nowhere near 3km). They were left on the table and then randomly starting picking up other people the next day, sounded like the postman delivering parcels. I don't know how good these would be for any serious purposes but they make a great novelty to play with.

We have given these to my sons to play with as they love walkie talkies and the children ones are always a bit rubbish.These are great. They work well, are good quality and have a good range. The batteries seem to last a long time.Hours of fun!
