Even the box the CRT ONE came in is smaller than my Amstrad 901,i unpacked the box and was still amazed at how small this cb radio really is.i took my time installing in my car, it came with bracket, fused power lead, mike hook, and all the screws and washers needed to do a proper job.When i first switched it on it was on EU mode, the manual was useless at telling you how to change this, i found a video on you tube came in handy, this radio has multi function buttons and most things are controlled buy up and down buttons on the mike.i wish i had bought the CRT ONE N the one i got was without the signal meter, the standard CRT ONE, no big deal really, it was cheap, its discreet can be placed almost anywhere,

This is a good set for the money and performance. Once I had figured out how to select the various settings for RFG and Squelch it was pretty straightforward to operate. On the set I have, the RF Power output was just below the 4 Watt permissible level. The selection of a good antenna was worth the time, effort and money as the distances I have been getting are not bad at all. The best so far is just over 23 miles and showing a S5 signal reading. The reported audio is good. Setting of the RF Gain and squelch is pretty critical I have got my squelch almost at zero. I tend to keep the RF gain switched off.

Great little radio for the money, my only gripe is the microphone feels cheap but the buttons to change channel on it are ok. After watching the radio being serviced on YouTube by Richard at UK CB Radio Servicing I did increase the deviation using a deviation meter but power wise mine is doing 4.2 watts out of the box and 8 watts when modified. The mod is easy to find on Simon The Wizards website and then the radio does 400 channels and you can select between 4w and 8w in the menus. The trouble is you lose the uk frequencies which is why I installed a toggle switch to switch between expanded and standard settings. Reports so far have been great.

Tiny little radio with great performance: covers all European CB standards (UK, Euro, German etc) and can be converted to the 10 metre amateur band with just a solder blob. Legal 4 watts AM / FM, squelch, scan and attenuator. Tiny enough to fit almost anywhere. If you need an S-meter, go for the "N" version at a higher price.Sensitive, reasonably selective and with good microphone audio (n.b. mic is hard wired).Put this on a good antenna or take it up a hill and be amazed at how far you'll get.

very small did not think it would be that small, but that's great. can put it in car and you would not see it, it's great for the money you pay, yes would let friends now where i got if asked.if you not have a lot of space in your car and would like to put a C.B in then this is the one for you..
