Good volume and signal. just the job for inshoreBattery life good so far (rechargeables supplied)Not sure how waterproof it is, must put a float on it before I lose it, as the belt clip is not brilliantly secure. there is a lanyard fixing which I have used to tether to my buoyancy aid

Impressive small radio, good basic features for inshore pleasure craft , lightweight reasonably rugged and easy to use, ideal for dinghy or fishing day sailing. The belt clip is clever but a little insecure, there is however a lanyard fastening on top.

I got this for use when pleasure boating and have used it to listen in to the local docks movements etc and also calling them up to pass through the locks. It seems to be really good from what I have found and am pleased with my purchase.

Excellent quality marine radio. I got our local harbour master to check it out and he thought it a great product for emergency use in the marine environment

Affordable, lightweight portable radio with basic functions more than enough for boats venturing out 10 to 15 miles and as a backup radio in general.
