I wanted a cable to secure bike wheels to the D lock I use to secure the bike frame. As this Cobra cable had a higher security than their standard cable, I chose this variety. What I did not expect was that this premium security cable would be so flexible. It is really easy to bend and thread about your bike.Pros- strong- flexible- lighter that I though it would be- good valueCons- the cable loops are just a little too big to thread through the bars of my saddle. I will experiment with looping a piece off the cable, not the ends, through the saddle wires.

I use this cable with Abus Sinus Plus - Black, 23cmalready had one of these, so after some research bought another one, as the lock + cable were cheaper separately. survives English weather, feels secure and is easy to use. I also like that you can use it as a 'rope' by looping the smaller end through the bigger end and then lock e.g. bike parts to something by using the bigger end and a D lock.I leave it wrapped round my saddle post attached to my lock (which is mounted on my frame) when not in use. it's pretty thick but bendy enough to handle efficiently.

Like most I use it in combination with a Ulock (Abus Granite X+540)So far so good, it's well made and easy to form a loop to protect the wheels.A determined theif could probably crack it with a good pair of bolt cutters but for the effort all they'd be getting is a wheel so would probably move onto easier pickings.Doesnt wrap very easily so a bit tricky to store on the bike when not in use, but this could be because its new.Would recommend this if your wheels have quick release.

Cable looks good. Length allows to connect front wheel, seat, rear wheel to the U-lock. Flexible enough to fold 2 times in circe and put in backpack. Used in +5 C for 15 mins. Dont know what happens in winter during - 20 C degrees, I estimate that metal wire will get very stiff, because my previous thin wire did that in winter when I left it outside for 2-3 hours.For stress tests, check articles on google or youtube. Havent tested myself, nor tested by burglars (I hope never will).

I purchased this universal loop cable which I attach to the closed shackle of my ABUS frame lock so that the cycle can be attached to a fixed post and secure friends cycles at the same time when we're out for a coffee stop ride. It's plenty long enough. You could also use an independent solid padlock with it.This cable is good value for money compared with the plug in cables specially designed for frame locks, so I'm especially pleased with this purchase.

This is a very sturdy 10mm thick high tensile security cable from a trusted brand. The 2m length offers plenty of options for providing additional supplementary security to your main lock. This cable is the non recoil type which means you don't have to fight any spring action when threading the cable through the desired items. At the time I purchased it was on offer at £12.21 with free delivery which represents excellent value for money.

Bought to secure my extortionately expensive PC tower to my desk. Is of excellent quality, and should at least convince a burglar he is not having my PC without risking the time taken to dismantle the entire desk! As I'll be talking to him over my internet IP security camera, I am convinced this cable will buy me the time to convince him he's better off taking my scruffy laptop and bailing before the rozzers arrive.

Thick vinyl on cable, loops, and crimp fittings. Should reduce scratching. We will see if the vinyl has good adhesion for the long haul, but for now, appears good. I does take up room on the bike even when rolled up. It is flexible but not like spaghetti, the trade-off is to increase the time the thief may need to cut the cable. Remember the 10% rule in protecting your bike, Ride Safe.

When used in conjunction with ABUS 8353C Extreme Weatherproof Open Shackle Padlock they make a very secure combination for cycle locking. Rated Siver for insurance purposes. Very Good quality wire cable. Ideal to slip into your saddle bag when out riding if you stop for a coffee or go into a shop.

This cable is longer than I thought it would be. It gives me ample room to cover both tries and pass it through the seat. So it secures the essentials of the bike. I use it with an Abus U-Lock and it's kept my road bike from being stolen in all sorts of neighborhoods in New York City.

Great Loop Cable. I already had the 10mm/200cm version but was finding this a bit long. This cable is great as it is slightly thicker at 12mm but being 100cm shorter takes up less space in my bag. I use this along with an Abus D-Lock to keep both my bike and wheels protected.

This is exactly what I required to keep my bike safe, as it is long enough to go thru the wheels, frame and where ever I am fixing it to.If someone really needs to nick your bike then they will, but this is idea for my needs at present.

While cables aren’t super secure (cable cutters, not bolt cutters, can usually cut them likety split) this one is pretty nice. I have a quality Abus link lock to secure the frame then thread this through the wheels.

Exactly what I needed, delivered quickly, have used these with Abus locks for years, but just needed another to lock my bike helmet and jacket to the bike for when I'm visiting and going out and about when touring.

Nicely made cable, small end will pass through the big end to make a loop, good quality finish in non scratch plastic over a strong steel cable. A useful part of my bike security equipment, recommended.
