I have a few Chung shi now and three of this.Feels light and comfortable, not a heavy shoe . No burning feet. Other shows burn and hurt. Can feel the deep stretch to the calf, feel like walking in high heels. Its made in such a way that the top part does not dig into the ankles. Good support nevertheless.Managed to run in them (for the bus) and I use on static machines , ie the stepper/ slider/ ski machine in the gym but need to be careful as this the extreme unbalance. Comfort step is the starter and easier. .Different type of imbalance and feel to MBT. I find these a days MBT quality/ fit not consistent and tend to be heavy soled.I prefer Chung shi but still use MBT occasionallyFour stars as you will get the rain in them .

I bought these as I was advised by a podiatrist that a slightly elevated heel would ease my platar fibromatosis symptoms. Only used them for a few shifts at work spending all night walking and standing and I can honestly say I've experienced very little arch pain for the first time in about three years. Its such a relief not having to reach for the painkillers after a few hours. I can't recommend them enough. Its strange getting used standing and walking slightly differently but I'll definitely be investing in more. I did buy half a size bigger following the reviews which was a good idea but if you have problem feet go for these.

Excellent shoes. They look cumbersome but actually feel light to wear and are not at all flimsy. Very comfortable and you can feel the deep calf stretch when wearing and also feel tall like you're in high heels. I wear them with thick socks (thermal) for perfect fit and in case of any rubbing.But I do this with other shoes as well.One star off as they will let in the rain.

The shoes came sooner than expected. They are cute, comfortable, and give a nice Achilles stretch.This is not my first pair. I've had them for years; however, they usually cost much more. Great shoe, great deal.
