This is the second Casio tide watch I have bought. The first one, the strap broke in about 2 years so I replaced it with a metal one. The watch buttons finally gave up after about 6-7 years and crumbled away. The repair according to casio would be about £25 making a second-hand (or even new) replacement the best option. The watch is waterproof, comfortable and reliable so does the job and there's not much else out there if you want a tide watch. It's only accurate to the nearest hour I found - you can't tell when high tide is by your watch, but you will know roughly what state the water is. The 10 year claimed battery life seems to be true, but the watch didn't last that long.

I've recently got back into dinghy racing, and I was after a watch that told me what the tide is doing, and had a countdown timer with beeps every minute, and beeps every second in the final 10-seconds. I also wanted a watch that didn't cost £100 or more. Well, this watch does it all, and at a very low price. The strap is comfortable but feels robust.The only slightly annoying thing is that I find it is easy to accidentally press the outer buttons. It beeps when it happens, so I know I've done it, but it might be nice to have one of those with the buttons on the front.Overall, I'm very happy with this very affordable watch.

This is my 4th watch of this style. I need to be able to tell the tides and this does a good job. The other watches have all lasted about 2 years before I changed the battery. My last watch had a defective strap and one of the blue buttons had come off. A new strap was nearly as much as this watch.I tried living without a watch for two weeks. It was a pain, although I got used to estimating the time.There was no manual, so I will have to try and remember how to set the tides.

Bought this to replace my trusty G-shock as I now have difficulty seeing the time at night and the digits on this are huge and not obstructed by hands.As an amateur kayaker I also liked the idea of all the other waterborne features it has but so far I have been unable to use them as setting these up is far too complicated!As a large digit waterproof watch, it's perfect

This watch is a well built, durable, good value , all rounder.Please note that tide and moon data are a guide only and not 100% accurate.Finding the info for tide data will need some research also, but well worth it , so look on the Internet and learn about tidal delays and longitude .

I bought one of these about 12 years ago and recently lost it - I'd had to replace the strap after about 8 or 9 years but the watch was still going strong. I went straight out and bought another - it's just what I need as a sailing race timer.

Arrived on time. Easy to use. Don't fully understand the compass. The only thing I found annoying. Is that because of the job i do in caring. When i looked at the time, it's on something else.

I use this watch to go sailing for many years. I lost my last one overboard and as the watch was reliable, waterproof and pretty tough was happy to replace with similar model.

Great value with 10 year battery life.Simple to use with good tide status display.Only negative - straps tend to break after several years daily use.

This product is excellent the only drawback is the strap, the last one broke and they cannot be replaced but that is the only negative.

Just a great watch from Casio. Has the Moon phase and High and Low tide reading. WR to 100m. Great features as always from Casio.

Easy to set up and clear display for basic functions. Lettering too small to be any use on the rest of it even with glasses.

OK a little bit fiddly to set up the tide function by inputting the lunitidal interval, but once done works a treat!
