Great jacket for the wind, blocks the wind out very nicely and water beads off nicely... Not a heavy jacket, its thin Smoot material but has a fleece thermal liner throughout the entire jacket and hood, even all the way threw the sleeves too.....I am going to use it as an under coat for layering in the winter to block out any cold wind, and would work on its own for spring and fall I think.The material is very nice with good stitching but again a thin jacket, my only complaint I guess is the zipper is a YKK plastic zipper....very very smooth zipper action like butter though and the nick zips up all the way to the chin which is very very nice for blocking wind and cold from blowing in the chest and neck area.....I am 6ft 5in and 210lbs,

The jacket is great. It fits to size, does block the wind quite well. It's not going to keep you warm in say sub 40 degree temps. But anything 50ish and above, it's fine. My only real complaints with it are the stiffness of it...which probably just goes with the territory. It can feel like it's binding up around you if you have to turn a lot. My only other complaint is the pockets. It's not exactly easy to get things in and out of them because of the design. All things considered, I would recommend it, and am happy I bought it.

I bought this for my husband who works a significant amount of time outside, we live near Chicago so extreme weather is common, especially this time of year. He wore it for the first time this week, we've had rain, snow, and 50+ mph winds, and he is THRILLED with this sweatshirt. He said the rain just rolled right off, and he could barely feel the wind through the jacket. I even asked him if he thought this was worth the $85, and he said "Absolutely!!!"

Absolutely love this hoodie, my new fav. A little shorter on me than my standard Carhartt hoodies but, it's not too short (I'm 6'3"). Really love it. Great materials and very high quality build. I tested it in high winds last weekend and it was great. Was not cheap but I think it was worth the price.

im not fat but my shoulders are wide and it is a little tight across the shoulders, length is perfect as i am short so its perfect length. well made as all Carhartt products are. i wear it when its a little windy or light rain, don't think it would do well in outside working environment all day.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for the weather here in California since it is pretty lightweight. Not sure how much I will get to test out the water resistance but the wind fighter part works great.

Fits like I thought it would but don't wear it during rain storms, it won't hold up. The jacket is better suited for light rain or a few sprinkles, get a true raincoat to handle the serious stuff.

Best sweatshirt ever. Fleece is not very thick, but provides a little warmth. Wind and rain block are excellent. Hood lays flat and provides great coverage when needed. Would recommend to anyone.

I am a women I wear a women's medium some times a small. In this men's jacket the small fit just fine. If you are used to how Carhartt usually fits you may want to size up on this sweatshirt.

awesome product and a perfect med to light weight hoodie. ummmmm and even after a year the zippers still work like its brand new. carhartt for life!

The perfect lightweight option for those wet and windy days when a heavy coat is too much. Over size hood and easy access pockets add to the appeal.

I love this hoodie. I live in Chicago and I wear it ALOT. It is sooo comfortable that I don't like taking it off so it's basically like a spring

Not my regular Carhartt Hoodie so it is taking a little getting used to but overall I like it very much it is Very comfortable.

Nice jacket and rare to find one with wind protection as well as rain. A little pricey but what my husband needed.

Made well. Not as warm as my old lined carhartt, but great for spring and fall.
