Highest quality Swiss craftsmanship, a joy to hold and to write with. Have ordered its Goliath black ink with broad ballpoint since this 849 ballpoint arrived containing a medium ballpoint Goliath, but in blue; I never write in anything except black. Its unique case is beautifully made, and I'm impressed that inside the lids are magnets, thus holding the 849 POP aluminium pan from falling out.I love good craftsmanship, and absolutely love this pen. Nothing can be faulted. Tough, too. Caran d'Ache have various coloured pens including sparkly-type powered coatings. Would make a very nice present.And this pen is lots cheaper bought through Amazon.

I bought 4 of them as a presents for christmas and I'm very happy with them!. Personally I prefer the normal 849 white cause I love the touch of the lacquer while I'm writing buuut seems imposible to find the normal ones with the box so there is no point of doing a present without a box... so the only solutions is bought the POP edition which still being a good option!!. Highly recommended as a really nice present (with an amazing writing) without having to spend 100 quids or more in a really good pen.

I love these pens - great product - I keep buying them .... thought I'd house them in this box - but didn't realise that it only holds one - difficult to tell from the pictures.
