Canon's 28mm IS USM lens is a bit of a Goldilocks optic for me, with it not being quite as wide as their otherwise identical 24mm version and the faster but longer 35mm f2 variant.But it is very nicely sharp, very stable thanks to the unobtrusive Image stabilisation, and great value as it is seems the least sought after version of these 3 lenses.As a 'walk around lens, it is very handy and I expect to get a lot of use out of it for general photography.
