This is my first purchase of a Canon L lens, I currently own many Canon lenses, some for APS-C cameras and some that will fit a full frame body, I have recently purchased my first full frame camera and although I have many lenses I didn’t have a wide angle telephoto that would fit, so I took the decision to purchase the Canon 24-70 F4 , and I am so glad I did, build quality is excellent, image quality is outstanding, focus is fast and I can shoot macro, ok it’s not life size macro but 0.7x is pretty respectable and great if you just need to get that shot without struggling to change to your macro, that even if you have it with you.. Would I recommend this objective, definitely yes, would I part with it,

I bought this to replace my ageing but still great 24-70 f2.8L and was instantly impressed by the image quality, ease of handling and its size. The close-up options on this f4 version of the lens is excellent and means that I won't have to use my macro lens or my extension rings half as often as I used to. I have since bought the 70-200 f4L IS and the 16-35 f4L IS lenses and they make a great team. I have now replaced all of my f2.8L zooms with f4L ones.

Another L lens in my collection.Macro mode is only x0.7 but if you not a macro shooter I'd does do the job perfectly well.IS is amazing. Now my hands are really steady.Recomended to everyone who wants to have a sharp pictures straight from f4.

Performs brilliantly. Super high quality and looks beautiful too. Photos look neat, clean, sharp, accurate colours and lovely contrast. This lens can be used in a variety of situations. This can be your only lens also.

A bit sceptical at first but thought to give it a punt as the price was half the price of a u.k lens. It arrived in a white unbranded box but it is definately a genuine Canon 24-70mm f4. Saved over £300, happy days.

Nice sharp lens and good for Landscapes, street photography and portraits it also fits on any old Canon film body made after 1986 - EF fit cameras, I have not used it much yet but what I have taken so far is good.

It work perfectly with all cannon cameras , sarp with good Quality image I’m happy to buy it from eBay I think it’s a bargain like always find most good items with less price than anywhere in the market ??

It produces superb sharp images . It is ideal as a general purpose lens and is the perfect solution to landscape photography.. It's macro range is also inspiring.. A lens suitable for most occasions.

absolutely love it, great lens, macro mode is more then enough, good price as well, highly recommended for someone who looking for a universal zoom lens.

This canon lens is better than the 24-70 f2.8 mark1 it has IS and Macro built in. It's the only lens I use now, apart from 10-18mm STM for building work

I'm using this lens on a Canon 7D2. The images are sharp and the colours are ....wow! The L lens quality shines through.

Sturdy built, amazing image quality, fast response.Has a wide view at 24mm, and a decent macro at 70mm!
