It is a tough decision to to lay out the money for a really good CPF. The prices are brutal and for something that is not used all the time with the camera it can be hard to justify. There are budget brands out there and this can seem like the right choice. But a polarizer is needed in the kind of conditions when flare is possible and when you want to use it you might be delving into your bag to reach it and it needs to resist the knocks and finger marks in the process. In addition, if you have to add it to the existing filter and/or your lens is wide angle then you want the frame of the filter to be thin enough to avoid vignetting the image. You need decent glass or whatever the lens material is,

I currently shoot landscapes on a full frame camera with a 16-35mm lens. I have really been missing this filter from my camera kit but the price was really the hard point for me to swallow when buying this. As a filter, it is fantastic! Minimal vinnetting at 16mm with the slim version. I already notice improvements in the photos I'm taking...Bar the price (which is tough to swallow) this really is a fantastic addition to any serious landscape photographers kit. Highly recommended!

Great quality. No noticeable colour cast. Much slimmer than most other polarizers.It performs exactly as you would hope, greatly reducing the chance of vignetting on a moderate wide angle. Highly Reccommended.

Does the job superbly well. Just what I would expect from B + W. I am gradually changing all my polarisers to B + W. The far eastern filters are good but not as good as B + W. In my humble opinion...
