Very nice especially since I got it on a lightning deal plus $30 rebate. I gives a pretty clear image, but I don't have any high end glass to compare it with. I can say it's as clear as a quality rifle scope such as from Clearidge. I use it with eye glasses on without issues, just needs some effort to adjust the distance between the two halves to fit my eyes to get the full field of view. I like that the rear lens covers can be attached to the neck strap to keep it from getting dropped of lost. I do wish the front lens covers, which hinge from the body, covered the lens more tightly. Would be nice as well, for how I use it, if I had a way to tether the carrying case to the neck strap.UPDATE November 2017: Now about 14 months after receiving it,I found that both of the black plastic clips, the clips that allow length adjustments of the neck strap, have broken from fatigue. I've used these binculars for only a few minutes, just testing them out mostly from indoors, and stored them hanging from the neck strap in a climate controlled room. They weren't exposed to extreme temperatures, and always away from sunlight so very little UV exposure, plus the clips are inside the case during storage. I've now tied the strap directly to the eyelets on the binoculars. Just be careful with yours, to avoid your binoculars taking a hit againt hard ground. Fortunately mine gave out while I had my hand on the strap, not just hanging from my neck, and one of the clips was only partially broken so one end of the strap still held and kept it from falling to the ground.

For the price, this pair of optics is a smash hit. I was looking for a decent set of 10x42's to keep in my truck at all times, and once I looked at these, I decided on 2 pairs. Knowing what I wanted to spend, ordered these along with a pair of Vortex Diamondback's.Right off the bat, after an hour of side-by-side comparisons, the Vortex came out on top but not by a mile. In fact, optically (clarity, brightness/light transmission, short distance focus, etc.), the 2 are not far apart at all- maybe 2-3% if I had to put some frame of reference on them. The Bushys are bigger and don't feel quite as solid as the Vortex, but I am as pleased as can be. And that price? Man, if I were on a tighter budget,I would not be the least bit embarrassed to tote these, if there is any upstaging it is in brand consciousness- which is pretty much inconsequential. Moreover, if and when I am out in the field whether hunting or hiking or simple sightseeing, I am more apt to grab these and use them due to the price factor and the conscience about breakage. And that leads me to Bushnell's warranty- which sounds about identical to Vortex's: No questions asked. That is more than a comfort. I've decided I am keeping both, even though for just a little more than I paid for 2 binocs, I could get myself an entry level ED pair. But- one for the truck, one for the pack, more likely to get used based on price, etc. I am more than pleased all the way around and would not hesitate to give a big recommend for these Bak4 lensed beauties.

I was leaving on a trip to Alaska with my kids and was looking at a wide range of binoculars from $60.00 to $300.00. I am no binocular expert, but I did my research thoroughly and carefully before buying these and even looked at several different sets at the local sports stores before I made my purchase! I have to tell everyone who is looking for a set a really great binoculars at a great price that these are it! My sister bought an identical set from a different manufacturer for more than double the price and these are just as good, if not better. They are absolutely the right size and weight and magnification. From our moving cruise ship or from a stable standing position, they allowed me to view anything I wanted: birds, bears, eagles, whales.... you name it, I had perfect light, perfect magnification, absolute stability and clarity. For the money, I cannot imagine being more pleased with a product! The only draw back is that the covers that the rubber lens covers that come with the binoculars are worthless. But, what was not advertised when I bought them, them were delivered complete with a pretty good carrying case, neck strap, and a very nice silky soft grey colored bag/pouch which the binoculars can be stored in and which you can use it to clean the lenses. I also bought the matching Butler Creek "Bone Collector" harness which is good stuff for carrying (but with everything that came with the binoculars, you don't need it). Buy these... You will not be disappointed!

I have spent a lot of money on optics over the years. Scopes and binoculars usually follow the golden rule "the more you pay the more you get." In this case that is simply not the truth. I dropped my pair of high end binoculars last year during turkey season and broke them. My last pair was a gift so i was not looking to spend over 500 on this pair. After a large amount of research I found these Bushnell 42mm bone collectors. I am really happy after taking them out in the field 2 times.Pros:- great field of view- offers covers for front and rear optics- each eye piece is adjustable- coated in a rubber- Focus is easily adjustable- comes in 2 cases, one that is a soft bag and the other can fit on a belt or over your shoulder- 30 mail in rebate!- strap included to go around the neck is comfortableCons:- fairly heavy. This is heavier then my old pair- front lens covers tend to come loose.Overall what a great value for the price. These see just as far as my last pair and are a fraction of the cost. Ill be spotting deer and varmint in no time with these beasts. These cost around 170 at cabelas and bass pro so save yourself come cash and buy them on Amazon.

I was looking for something to take hunting to spot deer and elk. These are up to the task. The glass seems really nice, and the field of view is really pretty good for a 10 power bino. I was a little hesitant on buying these until I found out that Bushnell has a lifetime limited warranty on their non-powered glass. So, no worries there. My only complaint is that the eyepiece covers just do not fit right. I am going to contact bushnell and see what they say, and report my results. as for the binos.....They seem really nice. I am going to take them into the field and test them out and post my results. They seem well built and a steal for $100 after Amazon's great price and the Bushnell $30 mail in rebate.I was just in Sportsman's warehouse and saw that they wanted $179 for them.11/8/2011-Took them into the field. Great crystal clear vision in full and partial light. a little heavy but the provided strap makes it more comfortable. The field of view is 325 at 1000 but seems a-lot better than that. Overall A steal for $100 pull the trigger!

I went searching for a nice inexpensive pair of Binoculars for hunting and target shooting and found these over at Bass Pro. But for their retail price, I knew I could find them at a more reasonable price....so I came to Amazon. If you have the time to wait for delivery- Shop Amazon and save $. As for the Binoculars, they are my first pair of EDC Binoculars. They focus easily, have extensions for those who wear glasses like me. I can adjust to see clearly through them in low light and when I'm shooting targets at 100 yards I can see how inaccurate I am. That's great quality 10X42!! I am impressed with their ease of use and carrying case. All around these are excellent for my purposes and carry them in my pack whenever I hunt or go shooting!Great pair!! These binoculars are amazing. They are a tad heavy but honestly aren't too bad. We bought these with anticipation of using them at a concert in which we got nosebleed seats. After giving them a test run at home and outside, I can honestly say that these are amazing. We were able to see the time on my microwave from outside, through my sliding glass door and while being a damn good distance away. Needless to say, I was very impressed. Also, note that I live in Colorado and it was cold outside, not a single blemish of fog anywhere on the lenses or eye pieces. While others may have had issues with the lens covers falling off, mine work perfectly fine.I did not recieve this product for free or discounted and yet I would still order them again. Great job, Bushnell!

The brightness and clarity of the Bushnell Trophy XLT Roof Prism Binoculars is quite amazing. Prior to my purchase of this binocular, I had a smaller, less powerful binocular (Bushnell 8x21). The difference between the two is tremendous as the Bushnell Trophy XLT Roof Prism is so much better in brightness and sharpness. I bought the Bushnell Trophy XLT Roof Prism to view the birds in my backyard, but I have to rest my arms on the window sill and lean the binoculars on the windows to stabilize my viewing. At this magnification, it's pretty much impossible to hold steady in your hands for bird watching. You will get dizzy pretty fast from all the movement.Note that there is no tripod mount built into the binoculars.

Ok, I was a little reluctant to purchase these binoculars - or any binoculars - after having purchased several cheap binoculars over the years. At $100, I just didn't know if these would make a significant difference over the $40 or $50 I had purchased in the past. Now that I've had a chance to use these, I will say that they are well worth the money. The optics are crystal clear - there is no slight fuzziness or color distortion. The focusing is fast and stays locked in well. The binoculars also feel very solid and well built. I haven't dropped them (thankfully), so I can't attest to durability from being dropped on the trail, etc. For the price I find it hard to envision a better pair of binoculars.

Man I just got these yesterday, wasn't expecting much I bought them used off amazon. To my surprise, when I opened the box everything was original that came with it and it was in perfect shape. After some adjusting to my eyes I can't believe how clear the lenses are and how firm the grip is. I bought these as my First pair of hunting glass and so far today I have been spying on the local cats hunting mice in the fields down the street, zooms right in crystal clear. My scope on my 30-06 can't compare, anyway super great product so far and the price I got it for can't be beat!

These were purchased primarily for bird watching and are doing a very good job. They are a little on the heavy side but have an outstanding image quality and work well for me both with and without my glasses. I have a wide pupillary distance (78mm) and it is good to have a pair of binoculars that will support that wide a span. I detect very little distortion at the edges of the viewing field and the color seems to be exact. They are also very bright and work well in dim situations. i would definitely recommend them.

I love that these binoculars do the job with such a cool design and a competitive price.Would have liked more durable lens caps and eye piece covers. The eye piece covers weren't glued, and when I dropped the binocs (secured by my neck) after viewing, the binocs rubbed against me and the eye piece caps would come off. I couldn't be too careful and lost one after a while. The lens covers too got cut at the "hinges".But for the additional maintenance, I still love these binocs.

Very satisfied with such a well put together product. The weight of this item is just right because of the material it was made out of as well as the lens. The lens are very distinctly clear and the focusing knob are so gently moved to being the field of view into focus. At night for star gazing, this item is a must have because it gives you a clear very wide field of view not to mentioned the awesome viewing in the daytime as well. I would recommend it to anyone to buy.

For somewhat inexpensive binoculars I continue to be impressed with the bushnell trophy line. I had the 8x32 binos already and bought the 10x42 for some longer range truck scouting before the season. Once again, the glass is clear, the binos are solid and well made and work flawlessly.I don't find the eyecups on the 10x42 to be as comfortable as the 8x32 pair but they work fine.Overall highly recommended, its a solid pair of binoculars that won't break the bank.

I ordered and received my binoculars in a reasonable amount of time. I live in the country and as soon as I opened the package and began viewing objects at different distances, I was very impressed. I have been hunting deer and turkey for forty years and I have owned a few other binoculars. These are great, not just for the price but, really a good buy because of the clear crisp view and, not too bulky and waterproof. I think I'm going to like these.George
