I will admit that I'm not an expert on Brother printers, but I suspect that many of the printers employing this model of drum are well and truly obsolete. I bought (very!) cheap for an ancient HL-730 Plus (old enough to vote and putting out a storming 6 pages per minute folks!). Product is fine, although better devices have followed it. However - and I can't stress this enough - do your sums on a new printer before buying a new drum.
