For a change in the summer months I chose the wool felt Birkenstocks. I know, wool in summer, but it makes sense. My feet can breath, the wool is so much lighter than leather, and moisture is wicked away. My first pair didn't turn up, but Amazon, faultless in their customer service solved the problem promptly. Over the years I think Birkenstock quality has become less. We had a pair that we used at the family home, leather Boston, everyone used them, popping out to the line, for coals, quick dog walks, they lasted about 10 years. Now I get about a year out of a pair. In the sandal styles the cork foot bed splits, and overall the sole wears very quickly. I'm glad I can get them a wee bit cheaper on Amazon for that reason.

This slippers are the best investment I’ve made this year. They are so comfortable that I can’t wait to get home to jump into them.The other day I was all dressed up to go to work and I almost forgot I’d had to put my shoes on, I was about to go to work wearing them.Once you try them you’ll never go back!

I bought these as a gift for my son at his request. It's the second pair we've bought him as the first pair finally wore out, after several years. I think they are rather expensive but must admit that they are hard-wearing and long-lasting!

Great service. Described well. Had to return a previous pair that were too big but there was absooutely no problem in returning and buying another size.

These are beautiful mules I wear at work. I can stand all day and they support my arches. They also look stylish with anything! No granny clogs for me!
