I had intended going to a shop to try a pair of Birkenstock Bostons on for size and fit, and certainly did not intend to chance it by just ordering some online. I wanted them for work where I spend a lot of time on my feet, and as I also have less than perfect posture/gait it makes sense to choose good shoes to support this, and Birkenstocks seemed to offer a good solution for both.I was waiting for the best price I could find when a pair came up at a very good price. I followed the advice in the reviews and chose a size 38 (UK size 5-5.5) and was preparing myself to be disappointed; I normally fit a size 39 because of a high instep which makes shoe shopping a bit of a chore sometimes.

Bought these clogs back in June, they do take time to break in I found it to be 3 days. At first they hammered my body and my feet and calves were in agony s bare that in mind but fast forward time and I couldn't be without them I don't notice that I'm standing for 14 hours a day anymore. They do run slightly large both in length and width and stretch over time as with anything that's leather so that should be taken into consideration. My biggest issue with these are that the tred/sole is absolutely terrible after only 10 weeks I have worn it down so that the top of my foot and heel is completely smooth , which isn't the best when I use them in a kitchen environment.

I have size 11 feet so ordered the EU 46 birkenstock. On arrival they looked absolutely massive and if i push my foot forward in them i have at least an inch of space between my heel and the back of the clog. As i only wanted these for indoor use as slippers I stuck with them. For the first week I did find them uncomfortable and they made the soles of my feet ache until the insole molded more to the shape of my foot, they are now fine and I happily wear them for hours around the house. However if i was buying these for proper outdoor use i would want to try a smaller size to see if it fitted a bit better.

I had several colours of Birkenstock Arizona sandals for the summer but wanted some more appropriate winter footwear so I went back to Amazon and discovered the Birkies Boston. I have always loved clogs but these Birkenstock soft-soled clogs are perfect and have continued the good work on my posture. I now have black, white floral and bronze and love them all. I never wear anything else on my feet (except bedsox). Be warned, it may take a few days to train your feet but once they have settled into them you too will love them forever. Also take notice of the advice others give about sizing.

I wish I know Birkenstock from years ago but I am a new buyer. the sandals helped me so much I don't get tired walking for miles. 36 Narrow fits me perfectly in sandals, but 36 narrow in Boston clog was way large for me. It shipped from Germany so I cannot return them. I guess I will just have to go to Germany and buy a new pair 35 N there as it is hard to find my size here in the States. Thank you Birkestock non the less but please be aware that same size in these may end up bigger, it feels so much bigger that it is impossible to walk in them for too long distance. unless I add a layer.

I buy a pair of these every year. They are sooo comfortable and great for posture. This year I treated myself to a dark brown pair as well and they do stay cleaner longer! The thing about them is that they are a year round product and in the summer, even though they are enclosed at the front, you can just slip your foot out for air every now and again but in the winter they are cozy, especially with some snazzy socks. Also, it isn't so painful if you stub your toes and once they are almost too far gone to be seen out in them (this can be years) you can use them in the garden. Perfect.

Not a problem with the product but more the sizing, i ordered two pairs of the Boston in black size 9 uk not narrow fit, and they come thruogh slim fit, contacted amazon explained the problem, they agreed i ordered regular fit and said we will send you out the correct ones, some days later i received the same ones in slim again.Had all the hassle of sending four pairs back and not getting what i wanted because they said they cant guarantee it would not happen again.Shame because they was a good price and i have had them off amazon before with no problem.

This is the 3rd pair of birkenstocks I have bought (others were sandles) and I am not dissapointed. I usually take a 36 narrow but as these were childrens and for work I bought a size 37 narrow and they will be perfect for winter with socks. As they are kids size i also saved about £50 from adult price and with free delivery I was doubly pleased, they also arrived very promtly. Bottom line I would definately recommend especially if you have small feet. They are excellent and extremely comfortable if you are on your feet all day.

These clogs are very comfortable and give your feet great support. The fleece is cosy and so far hasn't clumped up. I love the comfort of Birkenstocks and am glad they come in clogs so I can wear them in cooler weather as well. Not suitable for rainy days as they are suede but also come in leather so they could be worn in wet weather. The sizing is as expected and they can be purchased in slim fit or normal fit. The buckle can be let out or in to suit your foots width. Would recommend if you like comfortable footwear!

Unfortunately although these Birkenstock unisex Boston leather clogs are very well made and perfect for chefs, the clogs I was supplied with were the narrow fit instead of the regular fit I had been expecting. This is my fault as when checking the full description further down the page it does say narrow fit but I missed this first time round. Could I suggest perhaps that Amazon highlight the narrow fit in the bullet pointed descriptions up at the price point/sizing part of the page for others who might miss it?

I live in these clogs especially as in other shoes I depend on hospital orthotics for balance and pain relief .Usually the breaking in period last a few days but these fitted like a glove from the first moment .I am a bit worried I have been finding less Boston clogs and bikini Camden for sale in my my size 41 . I hope Birkenstocks are not fading them out .The dark blue colour really nice and will bridge the autumn winter time so well .

Its already the second pair i buy, the other one last for more than 2 years working Everydays as a chef.This shoes are super nice if you want to work in a kitchen. Doesnt smell bad , its not slippery, very easy to clean, leather is strong so if you drop a knife or boiling water wont hurt you.Cant wait for 2017 to buy another pair .And the feet gets inside very confortable during all day..you know its not easy life to be a chef..

Having purchased my first 2 pairs of Birkenstock sandals this summer, I am now hooked and bought the Boston clogs for colder weather. The clogs are wider than my sandals, due to being unisex I guess, but that's even better as there is more room for socks for when it gets really cold. The clogs feel a little bit different to walk in as there is a bigger toe ridge and the toe area gets very warm being enclosed, ideal for winter.

I have another pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs I've had for about 20 years. They've been resoled and recorked a few times. After years of having jobs requiring me to stand all day every day, nothing is more important to me than comfort. In addition to that, I like the classic look.Cheap shoes are no bargain. Birkenstocks are comfortable and durable. This is a purchase chosen for quality, not a short-lived trend.

If there's a more comfortable footwear out there, it's a well kept secret. Since the warm weather kicked in I've lived in these - so much so that I'm genuinely not looking forward to having to get back into socks and boots.I've had other clogs before, but Birkenstocks put them to shame. Worth the money, no doubt about it.Size-wise, I've got wide feet, so these are perfect. Still roomy, but comfortably so.
