After reading reviews about crocs and the sizing mishaps, I have to share my experiences. I read reviews, used the size chart, measured feet and former crocs, and used the sizing info from the Crocs official website. I found there is a discrepancy between "men's" sizing and "unisex" sizing of crocs, and differences in fit within styles. We chose these shoes in a Men's 8 for my son, who is wears size 7 New Balance sneakers. While we thought they looked fine on his feet, he felt they were too small due to the width mid-foot; they were much more snug than what he is used to when wearing Crocs. I wear a women's size 9, and I tried them on, and they completely fit, albeit somewhat more snug than typical Crocs, but they fit enough that I kept them for myself and a week later, I still totally love them. Very comfortable even being a tad snug. I also bought myself a new pair of unisex sized Crocs (regular style). I bought W 9/ M 7. They fit me well BUT I can't wear them with the heel strap across the back because if forces my feet forward and scrunches up my toes. Otherwise, they fit perfectly. To make the story even stranger, we went to Marshall's and found a pair of unisex Crocband Crocs for my son, same size as mine W 9/M 7, and they fit him. He could even go up in a size due to his foot's width, but they didn't have them, and for $16.99 we decided to get them anyway. I'm attaching a photo so you can see the differences. You can see the Swiftwater clog has more material over the mid-foot than the regular crocs and crocband. You can also see the middle one has a shorter heel strap. Technically, the middle and right shoes are the same size, but the one on the right is too small for me. So! My advice is either try these shoes on in a store before buying, or buy them online if they offer free returns/exchange if the size is wrong. Crocs really needs to get their sizing consistent! That being said, I really like crocs for their comfort, simplicity and ease around water.

// disclaimer-ish - let's establish what's my use for crocs so you can relate ( or not ) to what my opinion over this pair -- i use crocs as a) my replacement for slippers when i arrive home, b) as my driving-back-home-after-a-couple-hours-mountain-biking shoes/slippersordered a size 9 for this pair of crocs, a size 10 arrived and they fit great and a size 9 would fit too small - ( dress shoes size 8, asics road-running size 9, salomon trail-running size 9 )i believe they fit a bit small because it tightens over the bridge more than other modelsthis model is a also a bit heavier and less flexible than the "regular" crocs modelstill feels like crocs walking, with the added stiffness and weight from the regular modelsmy opinion is that these are a great choice for travelling as they look great and more like sandals, rather than scrubs uniform you didn't bother changing - they're also great for travelling as they feel like they "hug" your feet a bit more, without feeling as lose as the regular modelhowever, i wouldn't consider them as the comfortable choice to walk around at homebottom line is : if you're the designated driver you want this pair ( feels more like a shoe than a slipper, and looks awesome when you stop for petrol ) - if you're the passenger you want the regular pair ( more comfortable and flexible but it'll look like you just finished your shift at ER )

I own three different types of Crocs. When trying on the croc brand of shoe on in the store, I have noticed that crocs are designed for people with wide feet and they are typically very very loose on me. I have also noticed that the swiftwater line of crocs seems to fit people with more narrow/medium feet a bit better than regular crocs and they fit me really well. I think that this is why several people have posted reviews addressing the fit of these clogs. I own two pairs of the croc's mesh swiftwater sandals and decided to by the swiftwater clog because I wanted something that was a little bit easier to clean. So here is my review of the swiftwater colg: I love the shoes and think that they fit great, however I cannot wear them all day because my left pinkie toe rubs really bad. I am hoping that after I break the shoe in a bit more, the rubbing problem will go away. I also own some off-road clogs and they fit me much more loosely than my both types of my swiftwater crocs. All in all, I like the shoe but at this point I can not say as to whether I would buy this clog again, although I know I would by the mesh swiftwater sandals again. If anyone is wandering where I am getting the word medium from, it is from my chacos because I wear a medium/regular size and not a wide.

I bought the Swiftwater Clog Mule to wear around the camp site when out of my backpacking boots. These are perfect for that; letting my feet breath, my socks dry while wearing them, and protecting my resting feet from stones and forest debris. I have yet to try the Swiftwater when actually crossing swift water while hiking (as I also intended for them), but every indication is that they will perform that with excellence. The Swiftwater Clog Mule was reported to run narrow and I have a very narrow ("low volume") foot, so they seemed like a great way to go. In my bare feet these are just a little but not uncomfortably wide for me, and they are perfect when wearing regular, hiking, or trekking socks.Fantastic for my needs and comfort!

My original pair of Crocs had worn thin on the soles and had become slippery when walking on wet surfaces. These are used for work, during the Autumn / Winter months prior to walking on and off a lawn in wellington boots.I had read the reviews where people had commentated on the size fitment, but I had no issues. I wear UK size 9, I ordered size 9 as per the Amazon Crocs chart and the imprinted markings on the sole that arrived had M 10 (Male US Size 10).I would recommend them and a couple of my work colleagues asked for the Amazon link so that they could possibly buy a pair each. They are comfortable and the heel strap is easily adjusted via the hook and loop system.

I think these look much better than regular crocs, but that's not saying much given how ugly crocs objectively are. They FIT, as in hugs your feet very intimately, do not expect these to fit as loose and indifferent as normal crocs do. I wear size 8 however, if the size 8 in these swiftwater crocs were even 1 mm shorter they would be too small. SO yes, do order 1 size larger than you normally do for these model of crocs for a much easier fit. They do feel a-bit weird around the side of the arch of your feet (some may say tight) however they do not cause any irritation to me as other reviews say. Your results may vary depending on the volume of your feet.

I have to admit I had bought these only because I had bought a pair of knock offs and loved them even though I thought they looked gay. I got these and they were a little on the small side, they were tight. Since they are plastic/rubber I found that you can put them in the dyer for about 5 minutes. With a couple pairs of socks on and being hot as hell they are pliable when fresh from the dryer. I put them on with the socks and wore them around the house till they cooled and they fit perfect now. I threw out the knock offs and wear these instead. I went to Disney and Universal and wore these with the straps. Very comfortable, more so than my Nikes!!

As ever these Crocs are great as a general round the house and garden shoe like others I have bought in the past. These new style Swiftwaters seem a little more cushioned in the sole than my Yukon Mesas which is fine. But though there is no mention of this in the product listing, indeed the fit is described as Normal, the pair I received are described as Roomy Fit on the label and they are indeed wider and looser than my other Crocs. Ok with bare feet because they tend to adhere a bit, and probably with thicker socks, but still worth bearing in mind if you have narrow feet. Star off since this wasn’t clear in the description.

I know they are meant for water and outdoor purposes but i use them everywhere i can. In the house as slippers and on the porch or walking my dog. Its light and easy to slip on when needed so no issues there. I only have one minor issue with the left footed one. I think the molding was slightly off on the arch for the left foot or my left foot is bigger than the right, but i tends to pinch slightly on my arch. Like i said, its not a big problem. If i am wearing socks and i step them on then i don't even notice it. Overall. I really enjoy these and would probably buy another one down the road.

I've got chronic problems with plantar fasciitis and some nerve damage on the outside of one foot, the result of training for a hike up Mt. Washington. I have another pair of Swiftwater Clogs, covered toes, and they get warm in the warmer weather. I wear wool socks with those. Needed something that was cooler, but the same style and support. This pair works great! Very pleased. Fits just like the other pair, but there is more air flowing with these. I'd like to wear these all the time and need to get over my self-consciousness about wearing Crocs to work. I'm working on that attitude.

They are crocs, so they look hideous. I bought them to wade into a muddy river to launch my sculling boat. They are perfect for this. The straps are effective to keep them on even when I pull my feet out of deep mud and it tries to suck them off. No double entendre intended. The fit is spot on. I’m an 11.5 in Church’s and a U.K. 12 is slightly too big in the crocs. I anticipated that would be the case. They have very good grip on slippery wet surfaces and they appear rugged. They are comfortable to walk in, barefoot. Other than the sheer ugliness of the things, they are great.

I have mixed feelings about these crocs. This is my first pair as they looked uncomfortable. But all my friends and people I have asked say they're really comfortable. So........yes they're comfortable, they let my feet breathe during these extremely hot days, and have decent arch support, but how long does it take for them to loosen up? They're really stiff. I would give five stars if it wasn't for the fact they're really stiff and don't seem to loosen up after hours of wearing them. Other than that they fit well, have plenty of toe room and look great.

I got these in a UK 12, as i take 11 1/2 normally. This was a bit of a mistake and i now have a pair in UK 11 as well. Because the strap is adjustable its really comfortable. The 12 feels a bit loose, and has plenty of space at the heal, but the arch support is now under the heal and not where it’s supposed to be. The size 11 is almost perfect.Your feet tend to slip forward in Crocs anyway, so I think the fit is all in the adjustable strap.Marked down 1 star as the straps on my second pair are quite rough where the stitching is at the ends.

I read the reviews and was glad some said they run small. I wear a women size 8 so I usually need a mens 6 but thought I would try them in the 7 because I really like the style better than the women crocs. These are more stylish than the original crocs. i would love to get them in more colors! They are a little wide like most crocs, but that was how I expected them to fit. I work on a potters wheel and needed shoes that could be wiped off and would be comfortable. These will fit the bill perfectly until it is sandal season.

My first Crocs, and we're set for a long relationship. Comfy, cool, practical, you can just live in them: pad around house or garden, dry or wet. And if they get mucky you run them under the tap and leave them to dry in a jiffy. What's not to like? I took everyone's advice, and got a size slightly up (a 9, where normally I'm an 8) and I'm glad I did. The little straps at the back can be adjusted anyway. Oh, one more thing: you can slip them on like slippers or use the straps for more serious walking. They're genius.
