This is one of those products that if you don't persevere with it and learn the correct way to use it, you might be tempted to dismiss as a gimmick. However, if you stick with it you find it does do exactly what it claims to do namely to erase coloured ink. This is a four pen pack with the green and red ones being especially useful if use different colours to mark calendars, diaries, charts etc. The point is a medium one and in writing flows well although it is not the smoothest pen I have used. The case is a servicable plastic and you can get refills for them which is good news as they are more expensive than other basic Bics. When it comes to the USP of erasing the ink, then first impressions don't look good. There is no rubber or simila,r just a white plastic end to the pen top with a small hole in it. This will attach to either end of the pen, but if you just casually rub on a sheet of paper it tends to wrinkle the page and leave most of the ink behind. What you need to do is to hold the paper steady and apply equal pressure across the area you want to rub out in short firm strokes then you remove nearly all of the ink without damaging the paper. If you want to give it to children, then do take a little time to show them this simple technique and then they will love it and avoid messing up their exercise books. In the end then a good product worth buying and very handy if you have a little patience and take your time to use the pen correctly.

Erasable gel pens? That's novel, and very welcome too. As you can see from my photo, you won't get complete erasure, but why would you need it? This is much better than 'good enough' for correcting errors. The eraser itself appear to be just a piece of hard white plastic and you have to push down quite hard to get rid of the evidence, but it somehow does this without damaging the paper - I was using standard 80gsm white printer paper. You can then write on top without any problem, in stark contrast to the original erasable pens which erased poorly and rendered the area also unwritable. So, yeah, this does impress. The key negative is the firmness with which you have to press down. Both my children immediately wanted these pens - the promise of erasable ink is as alluring to children now as it was to me several decades ago - but both quickly gave up on them due to the firm but steady pressure required. What they want is ink that erases like a 2B pencil. That is still to be invented. Meanwhile, these pens are great, and hopefully Bic will bring out a set in their 'fun' colours.

I get through a LOT of pens in my work and thought I would try these. They are comfortable to write with which is important to me and , while they make a line less strong than some others , it is great to be able to change what you have written. They do erase fairly well which makes them very useful for lots of kinds of work...especially class work and notes which is what I do. They are not entirely easy to erase but the eraser does not seem to damage normal paper which is great. The ink flow is good which make then good to writ with even on not great paper. I use the cheapest for most of my work.I love having the different colours , Black , Red , Blue, and Green.I would not have bought different colours without having the set but I like and use that to make some work stand out for easy reference. All together they are good pens and I like them a lot. I enjoy using them and will get them again. Recommended.

Sick of crossing out appointments on your calendar and it looking messy? Me too!On first use of these pens I was left a little disappointed - I'd made an entry on my paper calendar and realised it was the wrong date - when I went to erase it, I was left with smudges. "Pfft, good advertising, bad product" I thought, and continued entering other dates onto the calendar. A few moments later, I returned to the smudge and tried to erase it again - this time it worked. The trick being to let the ink dry.I was really impressed with these pens. Maybe there is already a market swapped with erasable pens, but I had not seen them before. Not that I like to make mistakes, but it is good to know that I can quickly remedy them without the need for correction fluid to hand.I'd really recommend this product for diary-keepers and students! :)

This pack is of four gel pens – red, black, blue, green – the writing from which can be erased as readily as pencil marks from a pencil with an eraser on the end. Clever! As with an eraser intended for pencil marks, the eraser both loses a bit of itself and takes a small amount off the top surface of the paper. So the eraser won’t last for ever – but then, neither will the pen. The same is true of any pencil and its eraser. However, the pens can be refilled! Packs of three of each of the separate colours are available for about £4 each. So you don’t have to buy a whole new pen – or set of new pens – until your eraser is worn out. They are comfortable to hold, and the rubber collar close to the writing end enables a firm grip. The only minor quibble is that the colours are not as bright as you might have hoped.

BIC 943458 0.7 mm Medium Point Gel-ocity Illusion Erasable Gel Pens - Multi-Colour (Pack of 4)In the pack. You get four pens, blue, black, red and green.Writing and drawing. They write and draw well. Very smooth to use and apply. I can use all the colours so this pack is ideal for me but I think that can be bought separately if you want only one colour.Erasing.These are designed to be erasable and they do erase off the paper but make sue the ink is dry first. I sue them for writing and illustration and they are very good for that.Overall.A good set of pens and good value if you can use all of the colours in the blister pack. They do erase well for pen but make sure the ink is dry and you are using good quality paper or card or you will get a hole !

BIC 943458 0.7 mm Medium Point Gel-ocity Illusion Erasable Gel Pens - Multi-Colour (Pack of 4) is a nice set of four different coloured pens.1. Black2. Blue3. Red4. GreenEach pen provides a nice clear flow of ink with the added bonus it does not cause any spillages or splodges of ink. The added bonus the lid of each pen has an eraser positioned on the top. This allows you to erase any small mistakes but I would not advise you to try and remove long lines of ink as it does not fully remove the ink plus the fact it does damage the top layer of the paper.I like how this set of pen writes and they are very comfortable to hold while writing.A great set of pens which I am happy to recommend.

The 'BIC Gel-ocity Illusion Erasable Pens Medium Tip (0.7 mm) Assorted Colours Metal Gift Box of 8' is a beautifully-presented metal box with seethrough lid containing eight gel pens. These are different from normal gel pens though, as they contain a special ink which reacts with heat to become clear. While obviously this isn't ideal for documents/archiving, it is great for note-taking and arty doodles, as you can 'rub out' the ink using the eraser on the lid - the heat created by this friction is enough to 'erase' the ink (but unlike the 'ink erasers' of yore, it doesn't do so by removing the paper....).Expensive set, but would make a lovely gift and the pens can be refilled.

All the required pens for secondary school in one place and add the bonus of their erasability, that's a win. Despite that premise though, it is a little shy of perfect. The black pen does not offer a deep black, more of a dark grey, akin to a pencil. The red is a bit pinky too and I assume these weaker shades are a trade off for being erasable. Also, when there's too much ink, the eraser smudges rather than erases - some persistence solves the issue, but that's still frustrating. They are comfortable to write with and ink flows freely enough, no scratchy nibs. My children are more than happy enough to use these at school, despite those minor flaws.

This is a good quality set of gel pens. The colours are bright and beautiful, as you would expect from Bic. The erasers work very well indeed, certainly for small errors. They are lovely for writing, artwork or colouring in. Great for people like me who can't stay inside the lines. They are refillable, which is a great idea, but there only seems to be black and blue ones available, sadly. They come in a neat and attractive metal case and would make a great gift for anyone who loves to create colourful art. They are a little expensive for what you get though, just under £3 per pen.

This set of four Gel Pens, with an added eraser, are an interesting concept and becoming more popular. You get four colours – Black, Blue, Red and Green – so ideal for school or office. The ink is smooth and dries looking a little muted, compared to ballpoints, but perfectly clear. The eraser works fairly well if used immediately, but, if the ink dries, it is difficult to rub it out. However, it certainly does not work as well as a pencil eraser and so is of limited use. Still, nice clear ink, a good choice of colours and they write well, even if the erasers do not work perfectly.

These gel pens certainly produce a nice looking finish. They have a medium tip but actually write more like a fine tipped pen and you need very little pressure to write with them. This particular pack contains blue, red, green and black pens so something for everyone really. The eraser is on the cap and I have found that you have to rub quite hard to get it to work but when it works it does the job very well. No bits of rolled up paper or scraped away paper are left. Anyone remember ink erasers from the past? They did the job by destroying the paper. I like these pens a lot.

I love pens and have several Cases stuffed with various styles and colours so I was interested to try eraseable pens even I f just for the novelty. They do erase with considerable effort, and not completely. The set is very expensive too for 8 pens. The colour inks are a little disappointing in that they are lacking vibrancy plus the flow is not as effective as they could be seeming to wear out and needing to be warmed to flow again.Overall I wouldn’t rush out for these nor recommend or gift them but I can appreciate their usage as a medium tipped gel style pen.

Okay - so you can still see where you have written, but these pens let you write without fear of making a mistake and not being able to amend it without tippex. These pens can be rubbed out using the top of the lid and then you can rewrite the word as it should have been over the top, so that it can be read clearly without mistake or mess.My children love using these for homework, as they prefer not to have to cross out words where they have made mistakes and leave work looking perfect. These pens allow that without them getting really anxious about their work.

These pens are excellent, they write very smoothly and the eraser is a great idea especially for school. No more scrabbling about for a rubber and no need to make a decision about using pencils or pens. These are in a pack of four, blue, black, green and red. They are quite a thick pen which is a bit of a pain to me as I like a thin pen or pencil to write with. The eraser and the fact that these pens re such lovely writers compensate for the thickness though and I am very happy to recommend.
