Cute little thing, the sort of thing you wonder why you never had it before. We certainly did, as we got stung by excess weight luggage charges last winter, so were pleased to try it out before our latest trip and find that we were just within the limit this time. Handy little retractable tape measure so you can see if your bag is cabin-sized or not too. Easy to understand instructions, simple to calibrate to whatever weight measurement you want (pounds or kilos), clear read-out. Was a bit worried at first that in order to weigh a bag you had to hook the strap around the handle and lift the bag,

The Buerer LS 06 Luggage Scale with Tape is a lightweight and easy-to-use product that can be carried in the smallest of bags to weigh luggage. The plastic clasp on the belt provides a strong hold around the handle of the suitcase/bag. There were two AAA batteries already provided inside the machine which made it easier to use the product straight away. Unlike other baggage scales, where the meter automatically goes off, this product has an on/off button that helps in saving battery life.

The only reason for the 4 starts on quality is that it does feel a little flimsy but it does the job. I thought it would break the first time I used it but was pleasantly surprised that it is a lot stringer then it feels. It is ideal though, as it is small and light enough to take with you so you can check you ave not overloaded with holiday shopping. It was extremely close to the airport scale so no surprises. Would highly recommend for any traveller. Great little piece of kit

For large bulky bags, my existing luggage scales requires two people, one to hold the scales and bag, the other to read the weight on the scales The design of the Beurer means that weighing luggage is now a doddle and can be done solo, with a top-facing digital display that freezes the reading of the weight of the bag, wide comfortable straps for holding the luggage and the scales, plus a built-in tape measure in case (pun alert) you need to measure your bag for carry-on luggage.

I like the one I bought from Argos before that uses 2 AAA batteries. Button batteries drain very fast and more difficult to find. This one is more compact and has a tape measure (meant to measure cabin luggage dimensions). My other qualm with this unit (apart from the button Battery) is the not so secure battery compartment. Iv yet to come across a secure screw in type suitable for travels. Most, like this unit, has a tiny latch that can come loose after a while.

My empty suitcase is advertised as 2.3 kg and these scales weigh it as 2.2 to 2.5 depending on whether it swings when I pick it up. Overall it is pretty OK for checking for travelling with a low allowance.It is small and neat and easy to use and to take with me for internal flights. Only dorpped a star because it showed different weights each time but only a tiny amount. Would buy again. Could not get one in a shop so went to Argos and this was the only one they had.

It has different weighing settings with a sturdy clip for weighing, perfect for holidays and making sure luggage isn't overweight helping you avoid extra airport charges. Also has a handy tape measure which is helpful for measuring hand luggage bags. The size and weight of the item also makes it ideal to put in your suitcase so you can use it on the way back to make sure the souvenirs don't take you over your weight allowance and cost you more than anticipated.

The scale does the job perfectly. However, there are minor discrepancies in measurements for heavier luggage in comparison to the airport scale. While my 20kg suitcase was just +100g different at the airport, measured by Beurer 30kg was 31kg at the check-in scale. So it gives you quite exact measurements, but bear in mind that this is not professional tool, it's better to keep some margin.Good product for the price in overall.

I have received this item. Was very disapointed about the colour. It looks positively blue in the pics, but is silver. That disappoints me because l love colour. So that is one star off for me. I havent used it yet but it looks sturdy enouf for my needs. Whis is for me, to weigh bed pads after use to assess outtake of liquid. So lm hoping it will work for that. I will update my review, if possible when l see how it works.

Much lighter and smaller than my last one which had a clock face dial rather than this one's easy to read digital display. Have already used it and it seemed accurate to the airport scales. One dislike - it attaches to the suitcase handle with a quite stiff and fiddly buckle, it would be much easier to use with a simple hook.

Scale seems to be very well made and is easy to use. The strap allows you to fix it to the handle of any suitcase, rucksack or handbag. Once used the scale holds it's reading while you put the heavy bag down. Seems to be quite accurate - about 0.25 kg under an airline check-in scale, which is good enough for me!

Fairly easy to use. Don't know about accuracy, but did not fall foul of airline scales. When I bought this the Argos description said that C type batteries are required and there was an offer on C type batteries, however when I got home I found the unit uses button 2032 batteries, with 1 included.

Great item...very overdue purchase!! No more surprises at the airport check in!!! I have had too many of those! These luggage scales do the job and are accurate. Had to give the weighing task to my son as you need to have the strength to lift the case with the scales. Would definitely recommend

Bought this luggage scale to replace and older one ,this is the most precise scales I have ever used ,when weighed at the airport ,the reading was exactly the same as when I weighed it at home ,Also it's very compact so easy to stow away in your case .Buy with confidence !

We purchased this product as we were travelling to the US and their luggage weight restrictions were very strict, so we did not want to risk going over the limits. This product was very accurate every time we weighed our luggage during the trip. Very happy with our purchase!
