I have a young daughter and over the years, I've bought her felt tip pens from all types of places - although, to be honest, it's normally a pack of 10 for a pound or something. They never last and the colours aren't great.I remember when I was school that Berol was always the felt tip of choice so when I saw these, I thought she probably deserved the best - especially as she is heading to junior school in September and I don't want her colouring in to suffer! For anyone else looking to buy these, do note that although there are 42 pens in the pack, there are only 12 different colours to choose from. There are 2 or 3 pens that are the same colour. It's the most common - almost primary colours where there are 3 - e.g.red, blue, emerald green, yellow, black. Everything else will have 2.But, as expected the quality is awesome and the price is good.

These pens are perfect. Too often, felt-tip pens will come in flimsy packaging that gets damaged or arrives unfit for storing, and you end up with pens loose or left out of pencil cases. This set comes with its own pot, which means all you have to do is take off the plastic, put the pot on the tabl and the kids are ready to colour hassle-free. We have a bit of a collection of pens in my house as we're all avid colourers and I'm seriously considering replacing them all with pots of these. They colour well with deep, rich tones and the nibs are sturdy enough to withstand a toddler's hand. They are slightly fatter than your average felt-tip but that's no bad thing with small children. The colours are duplicated but this is great, black always runs out first so it's good to have spares!

These were a purchase for my 2 young sons (3.5 and 17 months)A nice selection of colours and you also get a few of the same colour - perfect for if the boys don't want to give up a particular colour - They are very chunky and durable; the nibs are very chunky too and can withstand the relevant amount of flack that 2 young boys will inflict upon them. The storage container is very sturdy and we just retained this to store the pens in. I love these pens and will certainly purchase again in the future. my eldest boy's pen grip has significantly improved using these felt tips and I am happy that they come off skin and out of clothes very easily. fantastic purchase

I ordered these while the black friday deals were on as I didn't feel it was worth the higher price tag due to not knowing what they were like. I do like them and the colour pay off is fantastic plus they are easy pens to hold due to the thicker size. The disappointing thing for me is that instead of being 42 different colours there are 4 of each colour and 3 of the one colour. This makes them a bit restrictive on what you can colour. To sum up great quality and colour pay off but not much variety in the choice of colours.

I am a primary school teacher and in my career I have used a good number of different types of felt tip pen and I always come back to Berol. They are great. A good strong colour and the thick nib is good for colouring large pieces but not so good for fine detail. They stand up to some heavy use and they can survive without their lids on for quite a while (they say 14 days but I haven't tested it). I also like to write cards etc in these pens. There are wider ranges of colours out there but these, I assure you, are the best

im sure like me you probably remember using these at school , where they would be used year round on a daily bases by 30 odd students in some classes and very rarely ran out ,,, though of coarse because of this they often ended up slipped in to bags and taken home . i can say i am definitely not disappointed now to have my own and they still work as well as i remember not one even looks the slightest bit near the beginning of its end these may very well last two three years even being used every day :D

Bought these for my 4 & 5 year old that love colouring. The pens are great, they last a long time and are lovely quality. There is around 4 of each colour pens in the pot which is perfect for children so they can each use the same colour! Stops any arguments on who is using the blue first haha.Make sure you keep an eye on price because the price has been fluctuating a huge amount. I think around £10 is what I paid and that seemed reasonable, anymore and I don’t think so.I hope this helps

I am a primary school teacher and in my career I have used a good number of different types of felt tip pen and I always come back to Berol. They are great. A good strong colour and the fine nib is good for detailed drawing. They stand up to some heavy use and they can survive without their lids on for quite a while (they say 14 days but I haven't tested it). I also like to write cards etc in these pens. There are wider ranges of colours out there but these, I assure you, are the best.

This is a lovely big pot of felt tip pens which were given to my five year old daughter for Christmas. There are lots of different colours and the pens are easy to control. The ends / nibs of the felt tips aren't hugely thin - but they are just right for this sort of age group. They seem to last well - despite hours of colouring, none have run out yet. There has only been one mishap in terms of pen on clothing, and the pen washed out in the washing machine.Would recommend.

This an excellent product for those needing a washable marker that might be used by persons with disability problems, where the pens may come into contact with their clothing or bed linen. The fine points are perfect for drawing a crisp hard line. A small problem is that understandably the caps are very hard to remove, so this need to be done by an attendant, but on the plus side the low evaporation rate means that the caps can be left off for an entire drawing session.

The item image is a lie, you get the new packaging in a fabulous time and condition!+veGreat Berol quality, as you'd expectQuick delivery & good packagingBrand new, never opened or tampered withReally cheap-ve???Can't go wrongRecommend to anyone wanting to revise, they're great for writing out revision notes when you need to. Good to have in the home if you ever want to jazz up cards or write a jazzy message. All in all, can't go wrong.

I bought the fine tips for very detailed colouring, they work very well for filling in fine details but the colours cannot blend, I would have liked them to blend for more professional look but they do the job. I did not realise there are only 12 colours that have been tripled to look like a lot more so choice of colours are limited. My picture attached used mostly these fine tip pens then I used some areas with my graphic pens.

Bought along with the berol fine tipped felts. Very happy with this purchase.Good felts, and a good range of colours, with thicker tips that allows the kids to colour larger areas, to create bolder picture outlines and for bold writing. I also found these felts can handle heavy usage and the inks seem to have lasts compared to other brands we have previously used (provided you don't loose the tops).

After spending a small fortune on other brands of pens which rarely lasted a month, I finally decided to invest in this pot which at first seemed a bit pricey. The pens are really good quality, and long lasting - excellent value. I first bought a set in September 2013 which lasted over a year before needing to be replaced. Don't think I'd buy any other brand now. Kids love them.

I used these as a child at school so trusted their quality. Not disappointed. Some pen lids have gone missing but the ink hasn't dried up- as promised on the tub the pens won't dry up until they are uncovered for 2 weeks! Give you plenty of searching time to find the missing lid.I bought the broad and fine for precision and general colouring. We love them. Highly recommended.
