I got this as a gift for my sister and husband as they are both fairly Apple-centric. Being a tech fan I was only too happy to assist with the set up as well! The box this comes in is very nice, sturdy and compact. It should please all but the most ardently snobby Apple fans (I know they hold their packaging dear!).The unit itself is a good weight and very pleasing to the eye. My sister's iPhone 7 sat very nicely on it and happily began to charge away. My brother in law has an Apple watch, this sits very comfortably on the magnetic plate which charges it alongside the phone.Unlike a lot of chargers there are no indicator LEDS. I think this is good as I cannot sleep with lights near me and would have had to cover them up if this was mine.As such, it's more than suitable for bedside use and,as the phone sits upright, makes a very good display dock too.This is a beautifully designed charger and dock, I have only deducted one star as, no matter how pretty and efficient it is, it's still just a fancy charger and I feel £100 is slightly over the odds. Given the cost of Apple products though, I imagine there will be a lot of users who will not baulk too much at this!

This is a very good charging dock. It is mains powered rather than USB which is becoming increasingly uncommon these days and that may put some people off. It comes with power cable and plug - the plug has interchangeable 3 pin connection for UK sockets and also 2 pin connection for other regions. As soon as it is connetcted to the mains it is up and working. The dock securely holds my iPhone in place and the 8-pin charging point is adjustable as it can be moved up/down and tilted forwards/backwards which makes it easy to dock the phone. No issues with charging whatsoever - very reliable so far; charges quickly and effortlessly. I can’t comment Apple Watch docking as I don’t own one.The dock itself has a premium look and feel to it with coloured metallic finish and very weighty feel helping to ensure it is very stable. The lack of USB powered connection may be an issue to some as it means the dock needs to be positioned near to a wall socket but that’s the only criticism I can think of. It’s not a problem to me and overall this is a very good charging dock in my opinion.

This is a sturdy feeling product from Belkin which looks quite smart on my bedside table. I got the rose gold version which is a good match for Apple's rose gold items but also looks fine with my silver iPhone 8 and Apple Watch. The height at which the watch is charged is ideal for catching a quick glimpse of the time in the middle of the night, and the watch feels well secured against the magnetic charger and plastic band holder (the latter is removable). The iPhone charges via the lightning port and a nice touch with this stand is that the height of the connector in the dock can be raised or lowered to accommodate a phone in a variety of cases. The only thing which is a shame is that this stand doesn't provide for is wireless charging.It's good that this charger only takes up one plug socket and also that it doesn't have any annoying lights on it to indicate when it is on. This is very irritating in a darkened room when trying to sleep.This item is quite pricey but it is good quality and well-thought out. I like it.

When not adorned by either an iPhone or Apple Watch, this does look like an art-deco inspired instrument you'd find in a 1920's dental surgery. And I don’t mean that in a bad way – it really does look very elegant and stylish on my girlfriend's bedside table.The lightning connector is adjustable using a scroll wheel so that it can accommodate iPhones in cases and the Apple Watch charger is magnetic and positioned in such away that you can easily see the screen when it's on charge.I’m really impressed with this. It has a single cable and it's ideal for charging my girlfriend’s iPhone 8 Plus and Apple Watch Series 2 overnight. As expected from Belkin,the build quality is first class and not too dissimilar to something that Apple themselves might produce (they sell Belkin products on their site). It is expensive but if you're using Apple devices, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

My husband got one of these for Christmas last year and I have coveted it since, not least because it saved space on the bedside table and held the phone at an angle I could look at easily.I have just got this for myself and I really like the colour. It holds the watch easily - the standard apple charger is easy to knock the watch off, whereas hanging it on this dock is much better. Also by having it next to the phone I will not forget my watch like I sometimes do otherwise.The only slight issue is that with some phone cases it won't sit right on the lightning adapter, but it works ok with mine (my hubby experienced issues until he changed his phone case.One plug, one dock,two devices charged and it looks great too.

There's no question this is a heavy and well made item, and in rose gold it does match your iphone perfectly. Similarly, there's a nicely weighted scroll-wheel on the back to raise or lower the lightning connector (to adjust for phone case depths). I like the fact that it's an AC mains charged base, rather than charged via USB, although others might prefer a USB charging input instead. My main gripe though is the price, where a hundred quid looks very top-end for what this item is ... a charger. Nice 3 star that scrapes a 4 star (just).

This is a good quality item, with a sturdy feel. We have tried a similar product, where you have to use your own chargers, and that is lightweight, and doesn't work well. This is much better - you simply plug it in, and can charge your phone and watch. I have an iphone 8plus, with a cover, and it fits ok, and charges well. The watch is also secure, and there's an extra attachment which helps when charging the watch with a heavy metal strap on.. with the original watch charger, I have to take that off. Very happy, would recommend.

I've always trusted Belkin products to be fully Apple compatible whilst trying to maintain a lot of the gorgeous style that Apple exhibit in their products, and this is no different.The Valet Charge dock is a beautiful shade of rose gold with a lightning dock port and watch charger on the right hand side with beautiful shiny stainless steel surrounding the poles and supports.It charges quick, and I've got no compatibility issues. Recommended!

The product is sturdy and great for leaving on the bedside cabinet you have 1 tidy lead that plugs in and the dock chargers my iPhone 11 and apple watch - leaving me with a spare watch charger for downstairs toovery good product
