Firstly this charger only works with wireless compatible phones so make sure your phone had wireless charge capability before buying!Having used cheap wireless chargers in the past is unit is definitely of a good quality and feels sturdy. It has a large surface area and a ring of a rubber type substance on top to hold your phone / tablet firmly in place. Having said all that it still requires your device to be in the right position to charge which can mean some fiddling around to get it working.. Works through my wife's case fine, mine is a bit thicker and whilst it still works the sweet spot is much smaller and I occasionally get a red light displayed on the unit but it still charges..

Purchased to reduce wear and tear on mobile phone charging socket in our house. My two sons are notorious for breaking sockets, having not checked which way around the usb cable goes in. This item is brilliant- all you need is an NFC (near field communication) enabled phone, often called QI enabled, and this charging pad. You just place the phone on top of the pad and it will begin to charge using induction- it is as simple as that. I have purchased three of these - two for our house and one for my desk in work. It has made charging so much easier and there are no arguments over chargers/cables. Highly recommended, and Belkin's offering is much better (and cheaper)

mixed feelings - but it does workfirst off you need a serious charger to use this, it's unlikely your phone charger is powerful enough, secondly, positioning your device on top is quite critical otherwise charging is slow..Initially I quite liked the idea of plonking my tablet down on top of it when not in use but actually its less convenient than it might seem. After all, your table/phone is with you but the charger is plugged into the wall.So what does it actually offer? Well it stops your USB port from getting damaged from careless or frequent plugging/unplugging of a charger cable. First thing to say is that if you haven’t had one before, a wireless phone charger is a game changer (it was for me) - and for the price you shouldn’t think twice.The charger is smaller than I expected, which means that it’s slightly harder to place my iPhone X w/glass case into the centre of the charger. Why is this a (tiny) problem? Because if it’s not central it won’t charge properly (at least that’s what belkin say) and the led blinks red. On the odd occasion I have to recentre my phone to ensure it’s correct.Have had this product for a week now - so can’t comment for or against lifespan / durability.

I bought this for the Elephone p9000 and it connects for charging without a problem. Several other makes I was contemplating seem to be overblown with indicator lights. Not good in a bedroom!The Belkin device has a small green indicator that illuminates when in use. Most phones tell you when they're charging but its a very a modest green light so not to worry.At night its good to be able to grab the phone without worrying about the lead. Belkin recommend using this device with a 2 ampere charger for maximum performance.

I use this wireless charging base for both an IPhone and a Samsung S7. Both phones are in cases . The charger quickly detects each phone (even in their cases) and charge time is pretty good. I use this charging base as an overnight charger. It definitely takes away the need for using different cables for different phones. One way in which it could be improved is having a full adapter rather than a USB lead for the unit itself. I would also use this charger when travelling since it is lightweight and unobtrusive to use.

Fantastic product. Easy to set up and looks stylish too. Bought as a present for someone who isn’t really a “techy” type of person and she loved it. Makes it so much easier to get the phone on charge whether it’s just a dark cold night that you want to get into bed, quickly coming in from work and rushing to the loo or stumbling upstairs after a few bottles of wine! Works across platforms of phone as well eg Samsung, Apple etc. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Well packed and well built unit. Some issues.- the light is too bright rendering useless next to your bed- its large. Meaning with case off the iPhone sits high on the camera- Always seems to be charging even though green light goes red a lot (incorrect position indicator) regardless of phone position- instructions non existant apart from some not very explanatory images

The pad is good quality and once you get the phone on the charge position it gives the phone a good charge. However most phone cases I tried with it don't charge through them - so you will more than likely have to remove your phone from its case to get a good charge for the phone. Otherwise it works well and not having a cable when you're charging is sooo much neater.

This is a nicely made wireless phone charger that works as expected. It shows that it's charging via a blue led indicator which dims and brightens to show it's working. When the phone is fully charged, the led turns red and charging stops.It's cheap and therefore doesn't come with a USB cable or the phone charger both of which must be provided by the purchaser.

Wasnt sure about this but got it from amazon treasure track for a tenner so was worth it. Some reviews say the phone has to be placed on the very middle to charge. well, yes but it didnt seem to be too big of an issue, you learn quickly how to put it on correctly. ha dit couple of weeks, worked always except of one time where i woke up to a phone half charged.

Works well as a QI charger, I have an S7 edge. Small charging light at night could be distracting and seemingly no option to disable, other than putting a small bit of electrical tape over it. My only frustration is that despite it's size you still have to be pretty accurate with where you place the phone to get the QI connection.

Great product. Does not come with a wall adaptor which also has to be a 2 amp. Most phone adaptors are a 1 amp. Charges fast, makes no noise, small and neat. Has a rubbery bit on top and bottom so it stays put and so does your phone. Worth paying that bit extra for. Made sure it was supplied by Amazon so not a fake.

Well well well. Got this via Amazon Warehouse. Flabbergasted. It works and has no minor scratches as described in the posting. Actually the team works very well. I used this on Samsung S7 even though the box says optimised for Ihone and iPad. The item does work with Samsung devices. Nice design. Well Impressed.

Nice little thing. Can be temperamental on positioning of phone but this can also be down to power being put into it. Used with a plug and supplied cable or into PC USB port and it works fine but, using it in an extension lead with USB port and this where the positioning becomes a problem.
