Just Like the UM2,this worked on Linux Ubuntu 'Bionic Beaver' (18.04) straight out of the box. No drivers needed, works fine with Audacity. he only issue, which is Linux orientated, is the lack of live monitoring using the internal sound drivers. That said, it would probably highlight any latency and could be an annoyance rather than an asset. I would still like to be able to do that though. This is intended to work with my old analogue Yamaha/Tape deck which I have yet to do but with having provided a couple of inputs, tried with good quality Sennheiser and Akai microphones, have no struggle in recommending this box.

I was not sure how this would turn out as there are some much more expensive ones out there but I am really impressed with Behringer. The sound quality is incredible. I just needed to bridge the gab between my instruments and my laptop and this does everything I need. I use it to record vocals, drums, bass, guitar and keyboard using Studio One and it works fine. My lap top is a 1 year old Dell Inspiron around the £600 i5 Intel processor and 8 ram. Good enough for home recording. Really happy with it.

Wonderful interface that worked out of the box with a quick instal of the drivers. Low noise, and good quality parts, such as, knobs and push switches, which are rock solid (no movement in my copy). Don't hesitate, it's amazing value for money. I bought this as a gift, but I am going to buy another for myself, as its better than my Focusrite 2i2.

Wanted to send audio out of laptop for a live sound school event. Makes audio richer than the headphone jack and has meant I can change position of laptop in relation to mixing desk so operator can see cues more easily. Easy enough set up. Not tried to record with it yet, but does what I need

Sound quality is excellent and the zero latency monitoring is a well thought out feature.Perfect for mobile use as it is powered through the USB port so no separate PSU needed. I use it with a mini laptop running Windows 10 to record piano with two mics.

it does all it`s supposed to do , there are better ones out there but I was short on cash at the time .at I was quite surprised by what I received . one of the bug bears though is it doesn`t come with an asio dedicated driver , but that can be sorted .

It's Behringer so you know it's going to work for a few years anyway, it really is sturdy and works with the high end audio pc's. Rather than having a huge desk you don't need for a single worker - you have all you need, plug in and go, that's it.
