As usual with a product as specialised as this, I decided to do a lot of research before purchasing. My research told me that this device would give me 2 inputs, which includes a combination of 1/4" jacks for instruments and XLR inputs for microphones, a high quality microphone pre-amp, split monitoring and compatibility with the iPad. All of which it does.Another reviewer docked 2 stars for the fact that the iTwo needs to be externally powered to be used on the iPad, which I thought was a little unfair as you can't expect a box with this many features to run off a trickle charge. I suppose if you wanted to remain potable then you could hook the iTwo up to a rechargeable phone charger (which can be bought for <£20 these days),either that or buy a device which doesn't have as many features in such a great package. The simple fact is that the iTwo has iPad compatibility where a lot of other systems don't, and if you never connect it to an iPad then you'll still have an amazing piece of kit which is well worth the money. The mic pre-amps seem very good to me, although I have nothing to compare it to. The instrument in's are top notch with the usual super useful clipping lights. The ability to monitor your instruments directly (I use headphones) and change the split between record and playback is incredibly useful and works brilliantly. One other useful feature is that the inbuilt DAC is very good so listening to your music library through the iTwo makes it sound even better than before, and of course, this also works on the iPad. The construction of the device is top notch, very sturdy and feels like it won't let you down.As far as negatives go, the knobs can be a bit slippery and slightly stiff (although the small clunk they make as they turn helps with making minute adjustments) and apart from that.... nothing.Overall: A great sounding piece of gear with some awesome features, all for a very, very reasonable price.

I truly do love this...I bought this after hearing my daughter singing up in her bedroom ( somewhat out of tune ) , I thought the Headphone x Mic set up would help her to hear what she was getting wrong through the headphone & then she would be able to correct & tune herself. Instead something more interesting happened....After downloading DAW Studio One I immediately became hooked on composing, arranging & producing tracks/songs. I used to be a cubase user but this software was just so much more inspirational. The sounds in it stock were just awe inspiring & on top of that you could still delve deeper & tweek a new parameter & Bam!!! the sounds just became hotter ....Everything works & works extremely well.I've been using Studio One for two years now almost & I can honestly say It's been a life changer. I've got over 100 tracks down, & from all kinds of genres. From Rock, House, Techno, Ambient, Dub, DNB, Film.....It's so versatile the potential is endless. I've even joined various specialized web sites remixing other artists material. On paper this is a 2year old product, it sits on my keyboard, it does what it does & it does it well. I recommend it to anyone & ask what else can you buy these days that after two years you don't need to go out & buy the latest model or upgrade ( by the way the software is the 'Artist' version which a step down from the 'Professional' version.) It's not a 30 day trial version & it's by no way a 'Lite' version either.

This is an amazing bundle for a anyone! I have only recently starting recording my own music and I am so happy with this purchase. The Presonus sound card is such good value for money, i have no trouble with latency or clipping. The microphone again is fantastic, i tried it out recording drums, and there was practically no clipping. Headphones are brilliant, you can really and clearly hear all the different frequencies, which makes mixing a lot better. Studio One again brilliant, kinda similar to a logic Pro X (the one i use at college). Only issue with the DAW is that it isn't user friendly, but im not bothered by that, plus there tutorial videos on the presonus website,so there is really no excuse to not become acquainted with it.Would defiantly buy again if i needed to.

I've had my Audiobox for just over 3 years now, and it's one of the most reliable pieces of equipment I've ever bought. I use it with Logic Pro X on my Macbook Air, recording with a very cheap £20 condenser microphone, and I've produced some really high-quality, professional-sounding recordings. It's a very simple piece of kit, with 2 dials for the levels of each input, and 2 LEDs which flash if there's any clipping. Because of how small it is, I've taken it to countless venues to record concerts, and it's never failed me once.I can't recommend this enough - either for beginners who are just starting with audio recording, or professionals who need some light-weight equipment for easy travelling.Absolutely fantastic hardware.

The product as a whole is really amazing for the price and for anyone who is looking to start-up their career should give this a try. The audio interface is as good as any and works perfectly. I have kind of got to the point where it may be the cheapest thing in my set-up but it still delivers perfectly. The headphones aren't too bad but I'd recommend you buy Monitors. The Mic is pretty good and records a rather crisp sound.I'd say you'd be better off buying each item separately so you know exactly what you are buying but if you are short for money, I honestly think this is worth more than it is sold for by £100.

I bought this with no knowledge of recording, on recommendation of a friend so I could record tracks for our church band during lockdown. It's been great and I use it for both direct recording for the keyboard, and microphone recording for vocals. I find it hard to get a decent sound with the microphone, I always have to amplify it hugely in my audacity program, but I'm sure that's either my mike or my lack of technical ability, rather than the box. For my needs, it's been great.

Set up was frustrating, my PC didn't like the software and I had to re-install three times with help from the Presonus team (they were quick to respond). I found it extremely useful viewing 'how to' videos on YouTube to get the most out of the package. Overall its good value for money (I carried out a lot of research on other DAW packages) and easy to pick up. My children enjoy producing new tracks with me, although they don't particularly share my enjoyment of drum and bass!

Brilliant interface and very easy to use!Bought mine to go between x2 active monitor systems (ADAM A7Xs and JBL LSR305s) and it is a brilliant item and works as expected, simply! Connect it to a uSB source (this is how its powered also) and connect to the speakers via TRS cables and off you go... Very simple and very easy! Its DAC is also very good IMO and weighed itself in against my HRT Streamer II+ and Firestone Audio Fubar DACs very well indeed!

It’s Ace. I’m using it with an iPad Pro 3 to connect midi & to record a stereo line in on the iPad. Just plug it in a it works. I’m using a Korg Ms2000 & Korg Gadget & it even syncs the cutoff freq lfo dials. The registration was I bit complicated as I made the mistake of registering online & not through the app but it gives you the option of deregistering.I was going to get 2 products but this does both so I’m well happy

Bought to replace a trusty old Tascam which was incompatible with my new Macbook. I chose Presonus as it could also be used with an iPad (haven't used it for that yet, but it's useful to know) and came with some professional grade DAW software (bought alone it would have been the same price as the interface). The seperate volume control for the headphones is especially useful for monitoring with cans.

Purchased this as part of home studio. I’ve had no problems installing or using, no unwanted interference, no drop out on input or output. It’s well made and not over priced. Bonus it comes with some decent software which I wasn’t expecting. I’ve used with my Bass, Guitar, Electric Saz, And Aerophone. All recorded, monitored and played back perfect. Good buy, easy to use and I recommend this product.

Yet another post Christmas present review. Bought for son to do home recording and mixing etc. The interface seems well built and the software as a starting system seems to fit the bill and they are currently home mixing a demo with no moans about its limits. The support was excellent on the query we had on set up. Headphones good sound but no report on the packaged mic. I would recommend this

I’m using this product for creating music and for a first timer I need all the help I can get. It’s easy to install and you don’t need to get a special PC, you also have videos to help set up and step by step instructions from creating your first composition to how to mix the end product. There’s a lot to learn and the good thing about this is that there is people on hand to help.

Arrived very quickly. Plugged into my PC, Win 10 downloaded the drivers and that was it. Works glitch free with a dual quad core Xeon HP Z600 workstation running Hauptwerk + Cavaille Coll de Metz catherdral organ and all the stops pulled out. A cheapo usb headphone amp couldn't cope. (I didn't bother registering nor downloading the Presonus software as it was not needed)

Make sure to download proper driver from Presonus website. Works a charm great quality and latency when recording guitar. Haven't used mic at all yet but if its anything like the interface it'll be sweet. Also don't forget to register for free Studio one Artist DAW. Will make the upgrade to pro a little cheaper if you want to "go legit".
