Avery Precision Guillotine (A2). The brittle plastic safety guard is all wobbly, and has to be pressed down manually with the left hand whilst the blade is pushed through to cut the paper. Therefore the paper being cut can move if you release the pressure slightly - which it did when I tried to cut through a few sheets and caused them to be cut skewed. Also, the plastic guard is so wobbly it just falls over (as its plastic clip does not stay where it should). The parts that hold the safety guard in place are made of cheap plastic, and do not stay in place and are easily knocked away, thus jamming the handle (blade). The paper slider which holds the paper in place on the bed is also cheap plastic,

The first one of these had to be sent back becuase the plastic guard was cracked when it arrived. We should have realised at this point that there was a design flaw with the product, but we went ahead with the order anyway. We've hardly used it at all since it arrived, really only to test the blade, but apparently this was all it took.The plastic guard has cracked already, making the product almost impossible to use. It just seems so flimsy, especially considering the price tag. Even before it broke it didn't seem like a very good item, TBH.Disappointing. Just waiting to see if we can get a refund...
