A good little trimmer for occasional use, cuts cleanly and easy to store. I have had mine since 2001 (15 years!) and still as good as new. I use mine mainly for cutting photos after printing, I usually print 4 photos on a sheet of A4 photo paper as I find this much cheaper than buying smaller paper.Only slight drawbacks are that it does struggle a bit with thicker paper and card, one sheet at a time is best, also it doesn't cut exactly where the edge of the trimmer is, it is about 1mm out, but you soon get used to it. All in all a good product, well made and decent quality.

Amazing paper cutter, it can cut lots of paper compared to other trimmers in the same price range and folds up really small so is very practical. Recommend for teachers although you might want to try the A3 one if you have space as sometimes I wish I had the option of trimming A3 too. The blade is really sharp and stays in place and the guidelines are useful for getting the angle and size exactly correct. Unfortunately, this arrived used when I ordered it new but customer services sorted this out really quickly and gave me 10% off so it is definitely worth 5 stars!

As others have said, it does not cut cleanly as many sheets as is stated in the blurb; with less paper it does a fantastic job. It is incredibly lightweight and tidy in appearance, which makes it ideal for home use and storage. I like that there is a three-year guarantee on the product, and I would recommend this to others. I bought it when it was on a lightning deal, so I got a real bargain. I would have been happy had I paid the full price.

I bought this trimmer model because A) it's compact and easy to store, and B) I needed an utensil to cut the margins of photographs. It works rather well, even with more than one sheet at the time (3 is the max. that I've tried). My only criticism is that it takes several trials to bet the right distance between the ruler and the trimmer to get the perfect margin (ca.1-2mm from the photo needs to protrude to get the cut right).

I've just retired from my job to start a photography business. I purchased one of these Avery trimmer because I know they are good. We used one in my last office for the last 10 years, as far as I can remember it cost £20 then. It wasn't used on a major scale, but for 5 sheets or less of paper documents, photographs or laminated sheets it was great. Not to mention how compact it is when folded up. A thumbs up from me.

Great trimmer, my wife makes cards, and this seems to cut through the card easily, and even with 2-3 pieces. Because it's small, the support isn't long enough to line up A4 paper, so you have to be quite adept at lining up and holding at the same time, but you get used to that after a while.

This is a really good trimmer much better than many others on the market. I use it for creating school displays and it cuts 10 sheets easily and will probably do more. It folds up nice and small so that it can be stored easily. The cut is sharp and straight. Would definitely recommend.

For a quite basic paper trimmer this Avery machine does a very good job. It is very precise and cuts smooth edges. I don't do a major amount of trimming, so it is good enough for the volume I carry out each week. Makes trimming much faster with its 10 sheet cutting capacity.

When I ordered this, I was expecting something smaller I could carry around with all my other bits n bobs I need throughout the day. It was a bit big for what I needed but the sellers were absolutely amazing. I would definitely go to them first in future for office supplies.

This trimmer arrived on time. It is very well put together although I would have expected it to be just a little bit larger and it would have been much easier to work with. As it is however, I have no complaints and it works just fine with a very good, cutting-edge.

I have had an identical trimmer for 13 years, and unfortuntely broke it and it fell apart. I was delighted to find that they still did the same product. It slides in easily next to my printer and unfolds quickly. It is very useful for A4 cutting of card and paper.

Having used one of these cutters at work for about 7 years, I needed to buy a trimmer/ cutter for home use. It is compact and well built. Trimming paper is easy, cut edge is sharp and feather free. I can thoroughly recommend this Avery product.

I bought this trimmer to replace a Avery trimmer that I purchased at least 10 years ago it was in constant use and it was perfect,but it was ready to let go of,this trimmer is fantastic it's neat and cuts perfectly I can highly recommended it.

Having borrowed a friend's trimmer, I was so impressed with the simplicity, safe use and quality that I decided to purchase one. It has proved to be an excellent purchase, and as we have limited space to store, it has been "just the job."

The trimmer folds and is compact to store, at the expense of a means of measuring exactly where to trim (no room for guide lines)It does cut well and I would recommend it if measuring exact sizes is not paramount.
