For someone who’s traditionally only drank instant coffee (don’t judge me) and had bad experiences with other moka pots, this has been an absolute game changer.Gone has the instant coffee and in comes deliciously perfect fresh coffee every... single... time. No burnt ends or bitterness. Ever.The build quality is great and I particularly like the lip on the inside of the lid which directs condensation back into the pot, rather than spilling down the sides.This is definitely a case where function meets form.Spend the money. Do it.

Firstly this coffee maker as expected from Alessi looks stylish and futuristic. It is essentially a 'piece of art' for the kitchen. It deserves to be displayed and not hidden away in a cupboard!! It not only looks great but works well. It is easy to use, easy to clean and brews a wonderful cup of espresso. The handle sits easily and feels secure when pouring. It is also not too heavy when pouring. This is a highly recommended stylish product and worth every penny.

As an addict of buying espresso pots, this caught my eye immediately, so the dog decided to treat me for Christmas. Was not disappointed! Beautiful pot that makes the perfect espresso every time, also comes packaged in a beautiful box as well so would make an excellent pressie for any coffee lover. It was also £30 cheaper than eBay and had the red handle (wife's favourite colour) ideal size also for 2/3 small "power esspressos". Highly recommended

Although I was initially advised of a delay in delivery due to being out of stock, the product was delivered ahead of the delivery date, exceeding my expectations, especially as I was buying a a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. The coffee pot is of exceptional quality, very quirky and he absolutely loves it. He is a big fan of this brand and his previous coffee pot has been over used for many years, so hoping this one lasts as long.

I thought it was time to give my Alessi's La Cupola a rest and treat myself to a new design. It is very unusual to look at and it makes a great tasting espresso. Even the packaging looks beautiful. Well done yet again, Alessi!

Beautiful bit of kit - makes delicious coffee and (unlike the more conventional hob-based Moka pots) does NOT cough and splutter at the end of the brew. A delight to use. A real "statement" piece and very well made

I was attracted to the shape of this coffee maker.I don’t want to put it away in a cupboard it’s so attractive.

A beautiful moka, which after five or six uses gets conditioned nicely and makes a fantastic espresso.
