Great design: attractive, ergonomic and functional.It makes easier to hold and screw the top and bottom part and to pour the coffee using a solid handle.The design of this coffee maker celebrates the Italian 'ritual' of preparing coffee in a renovated way: using Ossidiana is almost using an ancestral tool with primordial gesture for preparing coffee.I bought 2 of them (one was for a gift) and chose the option to buy directly from the Italian shops, it came cheaper and within a reasonable delivery time.

Elegant expresso maker, makes a good Italian expresso. In Italy they take expresso in a very small cupss. So if you are accustomed to a larger size cup of coffe, go for a 6 cup Alessi coffee maker. This one makes strong expresso for 3 cups.

I bought this for a friend as a birthday present. They say it makes perfect coffee and they use it all the time.
