I really like this product, the reason I did not give it five rather than four stars is basically because it shares some of the draw backs of all roll on products, its easy to apply enough of it that it winds up sticking clothing to the body, staining clothes, the ball can become a little grungy if hairs wind up detaching to the ball (which on this particular applicator is a little oversize compared to others). On the plus side, I really like the shape of the applicator, its easy to grip whether your hands are dry or wet (though I think its better to apply this to dry skin rather than wet or damp skin), I also like the oversize roller ball,it coats with the deodorizing film easily and doesnt appear to dispense globs of liquid which gather on the skin or applicator ball as much as some other brands I've used (long ago to be honest but all the same). The scent is strong, it also lasts long, I think the 48hr protection labeling is warranted/no exaggeration. One thing I would say that it is a stronger scent, perhaps that is why it says developed with athletes as I think this could be a great sports deodorant and I've known people who are regular gym users who apply this down the arms, along the back of legs etc. (though the wisdom of using pore blocking antiperspirants is a thing too). If you are wearing this as daily protection against body odors or when socialising and pairing it with other scents, in particular some of lighter eu du toilettes then they are going to a undetectable in contrast, or so I think. How much you are using it, as in whether its just for armpits or if you use it on arms, legs etc. is going to have a consequence for how long lasting it is.

The adidas Ice range of deodorants has proven to be a good one for people with an active life style. Packaged in black the 'Ice Dive' roll on is aimed at men, but can be used by anyone. What I like about it is that the scent is not teenage boy, but man. It is a lighter smell, but still has a little edge. As this is roll on you are not going to use it as a scent, but this does mean that it is not an unpleasant experience when you apply it. The ball is nice and wide so application is quick. This particular deodorant is aimed at sports people and lasts up to 48 hours. Personally I don't like to wait that long between washes and reapplication, especially if I was doing sports. What I can say is that it coped very comfortably with a busy 24 hours over the weekend that included physical work in the garden. This is the level of activity that I think most people will use it for. It does feel like it is quite powerful as the first time I applied it, it felt a little stingy. This means that it is probably not appropriate for people with sensitive skin. It is an antiperspirant and not just a deodoriser.

This is definitely a deodorant which has sports in mind.Adidas has come up with a neat little package, of a deodorant with a ball applicator that sits nicely in the hand and can be thrown into a kit bag without clanking or setting off airport security. It's palm sized and has grips on the side of the reservoir part so can be held without it flying out of your grip. The cap is secure and the ball device large and effective at taking up the deodorant and laying it down. The scent is actually quite pleasant. A strong, clean fragrance with a touch of citrus coming through the freshly-showered top notes. In summary it's the sort of fragrance that works well coming out of a locker room after a good shower, rather than added to other smells before a night out. I can see this working well as a daytime deodorant on holiday too.The only reason I haven't given a fifth star is that I personally prefer stick deodorants as they tend to be a bit less messy than ball types. Otherwise it's a competent, long-lasting product worth a place in your baggage or sports bag.

As you would expect from a big brand like Adidas this deodorant passes all the safety boxes. What you need to know is that it packs a hefty punch of smell and masculine at that. This is a roller ball that goes on with it's oversized roller and stays on.If you dance drink or mingle people will know you have used the stuff so you need to be aware.Saying that I like the smell. It does not tiptoe but punches its way into your senses. The trouble is if you combine other aftershaves, colognes etc they will be simply swamped. In saying that I would also advise that you don't just use this stuff all the time.If you do people will automatically associate you with the Mr Adidas Ice Dive Tag,Mix and match isbetter and a good tip to have.So there you have it.A top of the range for a medium price for a deodorant that packs a punch.

Having tried and been impressed with a similar recent Adidas deodorant in spray on form, I was interested to try this product out as well. With big claims like good for sport and lasting for 48hrs, it seemed like a good thing to check out.In terms of the plastic tube itself, it’s a good size and has a grippy outside which should make it easy to hold. The ball rolls nicely and doesn’t get stuck, with a solid surface area to get good coverage. In terms of scent, it’s pretty pleasant and seems to last for roughly the day though I wouldn’t stretch to the full 48hrs.Overall therefore, this makes for a decent underarm product – easy to apply, good smell and reasonably lingering – there’s not that much more I would want.

A big ball roll on. The scent is quite fresh and something I thought was a little on the citrus side more than mint. Gives even coverage, but as with all roll ons they can leave you with a wetness that needs to dry else it gets into clothing and could stain or damage the material. It sits on the cap, so the ball is ready to use after minimal movement across the skin. I've not had any skin reactions and it does give a lasting freshness. As for an anti-perspirant, well on a particularly hot day my armpits are no different, but I shower every day, so I don't have need to mask unwanted odours....at least not those coming from my skin my wife would add!

This is a nice and easy to use deodorant that has a very pleasant, sporty-feeling scent. It's easy to apply and rolls on without a problem. My only issue with is is the bottle doesn't stand up on it's own as it's a strange shape and rounded on the bottom. This means you can't stand it up on a shelf to use at home, presumably it's just made to be thrown in a kitbag. I'd also like to see whether or not is is animal friendly printed on the side of the bottle.

I honestly can't remember when I last used a rollerball deodorant, perhaps last century!Anyway, this rollerball works as described and it stands with the rollerball at the bottom keeping it ready for action (screw cap).Seems effective but like most deodorants uses aluminium to make it effective. No smell and give it 30 seconds or more before you put any clothing on to give it time to dry.

I much prefer roll-on deodorant to sprays or sticks. They are so much easier to apply. This is pretty much as effective as any I've used. The perfume is pretty strong and zesty, so perhaps best suited to someone who wants to give off a noticeable fragrance. Probably more suited to a young, sporty demographic, which is what the brand and presentation implies.

Stands between three and four stars this deodorant is not too bad for every day after the gym. Its not too strong in scent and not too sticky but there are better (man cave for example) Its small and practical so easy to carry around in your bag. All in all not bad to have in your bag or to take away on a short break.

The scent is good and lasts a good length of time. It applies well and the feel is not too sticky. My reduction of one star is because the price is not as on point as for other products. Roll ons, because of contact, have some downsides including trapping hairs and so should be priced smarter.

I’m reluctant to use any deodorant other than Sure but I tried this and found it compares really favourably. The smell is slightly masculine and typical of the ‘sporty’ label you sometimes get in toiletries. The most important part was that there was no moisture at all. It worked really well.

Like the scent of this deodorant, it's a shiny ball type one, which you roll on to the skin of your armpit. It's quite a masculine smell, but did give good protection against pongy pits !Being a roll-on, you don't get the waste of deodorant you do with sprays

An effective, lasting deodorant with a pleasant, minty aroma. I never have any skin problems with roll-ons, but I certainly didn’t with this one.At £2.75, however, it is too expensive to compete with discounted supermarket offerings.

16.5.2018

Smells really nice and is quite a long lasting fragrance. Not a lot to say about the rollerball applicator apart from it works as expected, it's a bit huge though. Seems effective and leaves less residue than aerosols and/or sticks.
