Was absolutely delighted to find a great costume quality peaked police hat for this price after seeing so many inferior others! Used as part of a 1986 NYPD Police Officer Costume to a themed fancy dress Hogmanay (NYE) Party.In terms of colour it perfectly matches my Navy Blue tie and complemented my Light Blue 1986 NYPD shirt as it should (although it would match the later Navy Blue design) with the white metal studded shiny black PVC of the brim and capband being a true black and so matching the black leather elements of dress belt and shoes and the black straight leg trousers to complete the costume.The wire ring inside the hats' body and the sturdy card faceplate backer behind the brim crisply maintain the hats'
