The fan control electronics has developed a fault where it no longer switches to full speed and occasionally will not start. There is no click from the onboard relay so it looks like a component failure. In addition the fan impeller has hairline fatigue cracks in the plastic from the screw fixing it to the motor spindle. So after 9 months in a domestic kitchen in normal use the fan needs to be replaced again. In short I may as well of gotten a cheaper brand and it may of lasted longer.

We had one of these fans before and it lasted 8 years, so we bought another one. It broke down after a couple of weeks and Amazon replaced it next day which was great but it also broke down after 4 months. Very disappointed. Sending back for refund.
