I'm very pleased with this. Used it last in January on the Mourne Mountains in quite deep snow. Outside, the wind and fog were having an argument. Inside I was nice and warm, able to sit in it (solo) to get some lunch wearing just a long sleeve t shirt. It really does a great job of creating a little "bubble" of bodyheat. With being windproof and waterproof (with taped seams) it is certainly a very reassuring product to have in my backpack.As a previous commenter has mentioned though, as of 14/03/2015 the pictures for this product are not accurate. It has one ventilation tube (the entire bag folds into this, which is handy) and the window at the front is circular and perhaps a little smaller.

I'm glad I bought this, but the one I had sent to me has only one breathing tube on the opposite side to the window. A big plus is the shelter has a draw string around the bottom, so I think you could maybe sleep on a bench alone and tighten the draw string to help stop it blowing away. I think the double tube was a later improvement. So...... take that on board and maybe ask first what you are getting. That photo is therefore deceptive.

Well made. I tried it out on my own and I felt ALOT warmer in this item. As I lifted it off me I felt a warm air escaping.It's easy setup, but packing the storm shelter back into the pouch does take some time. But I'm over looking that factor as it soooo simple and quick to setup.Takes 20-60 seconds to setup, Thanks vango

Great piece of safety back-up should things go wrong when out climbing/hiking. Super light and packs small to always have around on expeditions. 184cm tall. I can sit with legs out comfortably inside and with straight back. It is cosy but built that way for two as micro climate when weather turns bad or in an emergency.

Would have been 5 stars but the description and picture does not match the Vango 200. I'm guessing it is for the 400.There is only one vent and no seating, unless you call the blue trim seats.False advertising aside, the product seems high in quality.

dose what it sez small light warm it ok for an emergency , nice and bright, folds up easy. mine wont catch fire ive tried it case I wont a brew inside think I paid 20 uk pound fits great in me world war 3 ruck sack with me other crap

Safety. Will save a life when the weather comes in.Good for getting out of the rain for a bite to eat.All hikers should carry a storm shelter.

Quality product and quality service from the seller. Small and lightweight but a potential life saver. Don't go into the hills without one!

Bought for emergency's, luckily I haven't yet had to use it. Build quality seems good and easily big enough for two people.
