For the price, I highly recommend this tent.Easy to assemble, this took me 15 minutes, thought I would allow longer if this is your first time putting up a tent.Features double zippers allowing you to open/close doors and vents from within and out.The ground mat, though not the best, is certainly suitable. As with any ground mat, do ensure the ground is free from sharp objects such as stonesThe roof ventilation panels are a nice feature and include a mesh to keep the creepy crawlies out. Each door (there is one either side) has a separate zip down 'window' to allow for further ventilation. The rods are made metal: light weight and durableI use two person tents for single occupancy as I like to have elbow room and purchased this tent with this in mind. There's plenty of free space for storage as a single occupant with two storage pockets either end and a triangular pocket in one corner at either end, which appear (there are no instructions to indicate otherwise) for additional storage. At the apex inside is a small suspended clip for hanging a lantern.Comes complete with a zipped storage bag that has two clips to prevent unnecessary tension against the zipper. All delivered within quoted time scale in suitable packaging.A great tent for a good price. I would recommend this to others.Update Jan 19. I bought a Coleman 2 man done tent last year, where a second tent was needed. While both this and the Coleman are comparable, I've returned to this tent. Why? Unlike the Coleman, it's designed with the camper in mind and build quality is superior.

It is difficult to get any better in this price category. This tent is small for two people but for one person with lots of gear it is very good. I appreciate the black/treetops color scheme and the curvy shape, as it blends into the surroundings and is difficult to notice by others who want to enjoy the view without any orange, yellow or red spots sticking out, or if you just don't want any unnecessary attention. The pegs that come with this tent are on the heavier side for me personally, as I count fanatically the grams I put into my backpack, so I replaced them with lighter and smaller ones. Also you need at least 12 pegs, instead on 10 that come with the tent. But it is not a necessity, you can manage with 10, but the extra pegs give more options to really explore the tent space. The packed size of the tent is pleasantly small and can be carried in any small backpack. The tent can be assembled in about 10 minutes when alone, the first couple of times may be slower, naturally, but it seems for me 10 minutes is the minimum time.Overall a strong product for this money or a good tent to start with as a newbie backpacker.

Note - Changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Fair play to Amazon. I complained on the Friday and received a new tent on the Sunday. Have sent the other one back, Amazon took care of the postage. Can't really ask them to do more than that. Not 5 stars though because of the problem with the original.I am very unhappy with this product. The tent itself seems to be good quality and it arrived as expected but when I have unpacked everything and taken the poles out of the bag the string on one of the poles has come undone and all the bits have come apart. I can't retie the string because it is elastic and I can't get it back in to the poles to fix it.I was supposed to be going on a week longcamping trip next week but I guess I will have to cancel as I don't have a working tent or the money to buy a second tent. I will be returning this item.

I've been on two camping trips in the last month since buying this tent and on the first occasion experienced very heavy rain; it passed that test with flying colours as I stayed dry and so did my kit. It's easy to pitch ( although 7 minutes is optimistic, it takes me about ten) but it is recommended to purchase at least four additional pegs as others have mentioned. I used it as a single tent and it was roomy enough for a campbed but couples might find it cosy. The dual entry came in handy for storing boots, cooking kit and logs for the fire. I would have given it five stars but decided upon four as the porch groundsheet could cover the whole entrance and they should give you at least four more pegs.Other than that it has proved to be an excellent purchase.

This was a quick buy to camp whilst walking up Ben Nevis. It is an excellent product, much better than I expected. I agree with previous comments regarding addition pegs for the flysheet - I took a few from a larger tent we already had. The tent does not leak - a day and a night of rain in Scotland is testament to that. I particularly like the ability to open the tent from either side and the additional coverage area under the flysheet on each side at the openings. The internal height is excellent and I like the way it packs up into a small portable package. However it would be a squash for two people with gear - solo if you are tall (6ft) then lying diagonally is the answer which gives you two triangular areas for your gear.Good value and recommended.

This little tent did fantastic during the West Highland Way. The winds were around 40mph all night, and pouring rain, yet the little tent kept chugging on and kept my friend and I dry.It is a wee bit too small for 2 people, unless you are on a level of friendship that is comfortable enough to cuddle all night. We stuck outlet bags at the bottom by our feet, but were rather cramped with that. Luckily, I like to sleep in a ball.It sets up rather quickly (took 2 people maybe 10 minutes of distracted setting).I enjoyed the little pockets inside that I could stick my phone and candy wrappers in.It will be coming with me for a month long backpacking trip around Ireland, which will let it show off its amazing waterproof/wind proof skills yet again.

Great tent for the money. Perfect for one person and kit. I'm 6'1 and I just fitted, if you are any taller than that I think you might struggle. Easy to pitch but as others have said you really need a couple more pegs. Used it for a long weekend in October and got a lot of rain the second day and night and everything stayed bone dry inside. My final comment, and the reason I knocked off a star, is I'm not sure how long it will last. The fly sheet is attached to inner poles by very flimsy Velcro tabs and the inner tent simply ties to the poles using some strips of fabric. The stitching again doesn't feel very sturdy. All good for one weekend but certainly does not have a premium feel,I suppose you get what you pay for.

I bought this tent for a really good price but I ptu it up before I used it, good job I did, there is not enough pegs with it. I got 10 pegs with it when you need at least 14, other than that a good tent easy to put up, it took me around ten minutes on my own first time, with practice you could cut that down to 5. Enough space inside for 2 adults to be cosy and room inside the fly sheet for anything else, a bit heavy for trekking with though, so I would recommend it for festivals and camping if you take a car. 4 stars purely for the shortage of pegs.

So far so good, haven't been out camping in it yet. Had a trial run to ensure all the bits were included and that there was nothing wrong with the tent was a success. The tent comes in a small bag, great for motorcycle touring, it's very easy to assemble, inside there is enough space for a single camp bed and storage for all the stuff you don't want to leave outside. So far so good, next weekend is a trail run to Wales, before touring Northern Spain.... something tells me that if its ok for Wales in April it will be ok for Spain in JuneM

Don't be fooled by the size of this tent. It really is a comfortable, easy to put-up one man tent, that I was able to erect without fore knowledge in about 16 minutes. The times I used it there was no rain, but there was a high wind during the second night. Tent stood firm although the wind noise was troublesome. Can't blame the Vango for that ! Portable and takes up little space. Only one brickbat - three or four more tents pegs would be handy.

Bought this at great price £32.88. The tent withstand quite a beating at first trip - 20 hours of constant rain pouring from the sky. Of course there was no single leak inside. The pitching is very simple and fast. It only could use few extra pegs to increase flysheet clearance, because normally pole and flysheet are pegged with the same peg.The tent is spacious for one, but a could be squeeze for two with something more then two backpacks.

Great tent for one person and the reason why I've given 4 stars not 5. It's described as a 2 person tent but would be very cramped with 2 people in. I only wanted it for myself so that's fine, otherwise it's a very good little tent and easy to put up and take down again.

The first one I had the zip went on it so I would say be very careful with the zips, Amazon were excellent and replaced it. Just spent 3 nights in wet and windy ( 40 mph gusts ) Wales and I was warm dry and the tent coped very well so I am very happy with my purchase.

Great value. Easy to put up and comfortable to sleep in. I used it at a festival where, as usual, we had a lot of rain. It kept me completely dry! I think it is best suited to one person unless you want to get really close up and personal with the other occupant!

Great tent for one person. It's a bit snug for 2 people but you'd better be a couple! The door openings on either side are fantastic, allows for brilliant ventilation in warm weather. Just a very clever little tent, go buy!
