I bought this tent for myself to use at Download 2018. We had some heavy rain one of the days and overnight but although I had a tiny bit of water accumulated in the porch which was inevitable because of the gap between the groundsheet and inner at the door sides, the inner sleeping pod was completely dry. When the tent is up the inner touches the outer fly sheet in places but it’s testament to the quality of the waterproof rating that I had no leaks or moisture inside the sleeping pod. The tent is very small, not ideal if you have a lot of stuff. I fitted a single air bed in there and had about 12 inches of space down one side for my beer, rucksack, folded chair and spot to charge my phone. My festival shopping trolley just fitted in the porch when folded down. It does feel rather cramped at times like getting changed etc, but once organised it wasn’t too stressful. It’s ideal for a single person just wanting somewhere to sleep after a hard day at a festival. It’s quick to put up, 10 minutes maximum and it’s lightweight and easy to carry. Packing it away was easy too.

I'm chuffed to bits with this, Vango seem to be a pretty good brand of outdoor equipment, and this tent is no different. It's not hugely heavy and the whole thing is compact enough to take hiking without a great deal of effort. It slips into my pack with plenty of room to spare. Would be ideal if like me you're not too concerned about ultra-light hiking or you're only going for weekend camping trips. If you're going out on longer stretches, perhaps consider something lighter! Personally, I'd give it 5* portability, but considering the nature of the trip it's coming on, I could have gone lighter/more portable, so I'll give it 3* as I opted to save some money vs weight. This would 100% be fab if you're driving to a campsite. I may change my tune about it's merits after I've walked half way round the West of Ireland with it in my pack!

Took this on a camping trip with no opportunity to check how to pitch. Arrived on site in torrential rain, up and watertight in 5 mins with the help of a friend. Persistent rain for 8 hours and this little tent did not let me down. No leaks. Roomy and easy to pack away too. Totally recommend this if it’s a small tent with quick pitch being what you need.
